I definately wanna bag it, eventually, jsut don't have that kind of flow right now. So until then I can prolly afford to put new springs. But don't I need to change struts and shocks when i do that? I want to do it right. How much do the tanabe's go for?

(wow, capt. pooty posted on my thread!)

Most everyone drops on stock shocks/struts. I think the Tanabes run 150=175

I think last time he didn't come because he heard you were not making the Famous burgers and dogs. What I missed was the chef hats. I kept thinking when are they going to get the chef hats and then I would remember you were not cooking.

do i really wanna go with used springs?

I heard that factory shocks/struts aren't made for a 2" drop and therefore would not give you a good ride, or at least as well aride as they could. does that make sense?

True, stock struts are not made to handle the 2in drop, however many people have been running them without complaints. The valving still good enough to "absorb" the impacts.

No search the keyword "springs and stock shocks" and you should find threads related to your question

Okay I searched, looks like 50/50. I'm not able to order the springs yet, we'll see what the money situation looks like then.

I also searched the classifieds, nothin. Oh well, I think I would feel better with new springs any way, I've already got 200 miles on my xb and I love it the more I drive it! I noticed last night it reminds me alittle, just a little of my old lowrider, just a little bounce.
