Default Anyone want to paint my entire interior the RIGHT WAY?

Howdy to all my Texans... I gotta call out for anyone or of course any shop who can PROFESSIONALLY (that is with the nicest quality work) paint the majority of plastic inside my xB to glossy white and black (to look exactly like the outside of the car which requires a lot of sanding). Does anybody know any shops in TX that would be interested? Or anybody know somebody who knows how to do this? I'm willing to pay for the expenses and I can take all the parts out. Any help would be appreciative!

I want it to be somewhat like the volkswagon beetle's doors. You know how they are painted lookin on the inside of the door that matches the outside. I love that look and I want to kinda accomplish that look with my xB only with almost everything painted. The leather I am gettin will come with all the door inserts that I replace the cloth with. It will be black to contrast the white doors and white panels on that insert.

On to what I want to do as far as color....

I want all this to be contrasted. I don't just want white EVERYWHERE. My style I'm going for is strictly white, black, and chrome/mirror accents. So I want some parts painted a glossy black to contrast all the white parts. Actually there are 3 parts of the interior that I want black. I want the A B & C pillars painted black to contrast or divide the white doors/dash and white headliner. I want the bottom part of the dash (whatever is left when you take off the upper dash) with the shelf and all painted black to give the whole front end a glossy type of finish instead of leaving it out and having a nice glossy white dash with a dull gray bottom area. I just don't know how big and bulky that piece is and I have never heard anybody taking it all out before. I just wouldn't look clean to me in my opinion. The last thing is minor but I just want the handle on the glovebox black also. Everything else will be totally white.
I guess I just rather have it all done then some parts not being done. I mean the buttons and all that can stay as they are and all that little stuff won't need painting.

This is definately a big project. I want to get it done though. I've wanted this done for a really long time and it is time that find ways in doing it. Help make this vision a reality. lol I believe this can look really awesome when it is all said and done. Done RIGHT! I'm almost too afraid to know how much this will cost though . My limit is kinda 500-600. But I want done whatever I can get with that.

BTW here are two pics that have kinda given me the inspiration to do this painting.

Notice how the whole front end is painted pink. Well I thnk that is a little over the edge especially if I did it all white. That's why I want to have the top part white and the bottom (shelf area) black. It would all come together nicely I believe.

Alright here is the pic that pretty much started it all. I'm sure many of you have seen it. I have based pretty much my whole interior design on this picture. I already have all the blue leds where they need to be and have the white steering wheel cover from newscionparts.com. All I need is everything to be glossy for those lights to glisten off of.

Thanks!!!!

I did the pink one and i wouldn't recommend it, the dash started separating, not paint peeling, the plastic started popping off, taking the paint with it. I would only recommend it on a full show car that sits in a garage 24/7 when not showing. The texas sun is highly brutal and forces havok on mods like this. A 5 to 6 hundred budget is pretty low for these kind of mods because of the materials and time envolved, properly done each piece is going to need to be run through a bake cycle to get the mold release agents out. Price replacement parts before doing this would be my advice . Here is a pic of the pink one now.

Default SAI

Call Ricky Booker at SAI 469.628.1128. $500 - $600 is low, but i am sure he will work with you. Talk to him about a sponsership for 2007. If you need any help call me @972.741.2559. Maybe we could think of something different than what someone else has already done and work into your budget of $500 to $600. Are you the same guy I talked to about this several months back?

Yes, you are probably the same guy I talked to before. I still haven't called about SAI in the last few months. I want to get this done soo bad. I know I would make a good ride to sponsor. I go to many car shows and I've won 3 trophys. I wouldn't mind representing SAI if they can do what I want. I really don't know how to approach them about a sponsorship. PM for any help?
