I been to 3 autocross meets here and I've seeen only 1 scion!
When I registered and toldrhe guy I had a tc he was all confused then I told him it was scion an he looked even more confused?
None of u guys come out to these meets? There's one coming up on the 27th at the San Antonio race way I hope to not be the only scion out there again.
It would be nice to have a fellow sl member to race with. instead of the sea of miatas and s2k's

what are the requirements? I don't own a helmet and have no plans to buy one.

 

Most autox organizations have helmets you can borrow. We're a small region and we have like 8 or 9 available. I only have my own because I do it regularly.

Though saying you have no plans to buy one may change after you do it a couple times.

 

Yea they have loaner helmets
and it's 20-25$ to register I recomend doing it in advance on www.sasca.org
and getting there early.
After going once I went and bought a helmet.
Plus simpson racing has their hq in new braunfels so I just went ans picked it up

also bring a little ice chest it's a day long event u can bring food n drinks

 

Wow... you guys have cheap events. Ours are $30 for SCCA members and $45 for everyone else.

 

YEa it's not to bad we have about 70-80 cars show up every time. Do alot of people show up to yours ack?

 

It's also free to go watch so if anyone jut wants to check it out it's free!!!
And u can ask to do ride alongside with people. Most drivers r on with it.

 

Depends on the location. We have a lot of smaller events that only get 35-40 people. But we get at least double that usually at an airstrip we use a lot.

 

I go to these events to autocross, hit me up. I hardly see any tCs out there when I run.
