Default car alarms in the RGV

this is a question for those of you in the RGV (mission, mcallen). besides D- tronics and Oscar sound waves , do you guys know anyone else that does good alarm installs at a fair price. i dont mind paying 500+ at DT and OSW if im getting what im paying for but i just want to see if i can save a little money without having to sacrifice quality.

I really haven't had a good experience at D-Tronics, from what i heard from our boy Josh from Best buy i can understand why. i hear Ace's audio does a good job here in mission. then there's our guy from zapata that has his own audio place he's hooked up with a place in pharr called platinium audio, he stands by their work.

yeah when i went into d tronics i asked about their systems and the guy that helped me seemed real arrogent and like he didnt want to help me. when i went to OSW they were at least WAY friendlier and more helpful.

yeah i was looking to get a 2 way that way i could get feed back on whats going on. i would love to have the remote start feature just for its convinience during the winter and maybe a remote with an easy to read LCD sceen. i was looking at the viper alarm systems but they are highly priced. right now im looking into other systems, reffering to performance auto and sound magazines for help on whats out there and just trying to find reputable installers at the moment.

there's a lot of high tech car alarms already, pricey but great.. http://www.directed.com/
very tempting, i love the iphone unlock anywhere.. but standard 2way lcd with remote start should be around 300-400sh installed.. paid 500 for mine few years back but thats coz i have a manual w/ remote start

yeah 500 is what ive been seeing is the norm for a 2 way system with auto start and a lcd screen display fob. thank you for the web page it is really helpful in helping me choose. i would like to get a viper as it is what my brother had on his EVO and he never worried about the car. im gonna see if some of the places you guys have suggested carry viper, python or Clifford as i love the one mile distance .
