I know my car's a joke, I laugh about it a lot. It's important to not take things too serious, otherwise you get your panties in a knot. I don't expect to be serious competition, and I wasn't calling out all of StyleWagons. It was a play on words, I was referring to the two of you as wagons. See the comma? Exposed cathodes are a definate faux paus, that's all I'm saying. It was nothing against your club. And I certainly wasn't bashing your entire cars, or your speakers for that matter. I know Pyles are piles, it ain't no thang. I'm not trying to win any sound offs. You guys need to chill out, getting all worked up and emotional isn't very elite. Though my **** talking is official, it's not serious, nor are my intentions negative. If one sentence got you guys that worked up, I hate to see what a whole paragraph will do! Mike i know that your not bagging on all of us but you have to understand.. we put forth alot of effort towards all are cars not just your our own.... so when you diss a club car its the whole club thats involved.. thanks for the respect.. and i do still respect you .. just realize what you say and were it goes thats all........

these guys work just as hard as you do on your car and club... so a little respect factor should be involved...... like taking it to PM's for some constructive critsicm..is fine but when you bring a negative presence to a forum exspecially to a club level then there is a problem ....

now put yourself in our shoes..... you would be doing the same thing if it was your club member being attacked at a comment,.... thats just how we all are taking up for what is right thats all... no panties being bunched..... just a CLUB level of respect has been broken by one silly comment being real or fake.. still a silly comment that if not made this probably wouldnt have gone as far as it has gotten you know what im saying.....

 

WOW... how cool, yet another drama thread, he mentioned something about the cathodes been visible, and you get on it trevor, then it starts a domino effect. Dudes seriously, i KNOW that i have red that A LOT about the cathodes been visible and i have not seen it turn like this before, and I have personally said to some of you guys faces, about the cathodes been visible and nothing to this nature was said to me, why start bashin when he said something about them, just take it lightly. I mean whatever, it is his opinion, just as much as you have yours. and well I know that this is going to turn into a, well im giving my opinion on his car, well this thread aint about his car.

 

I would think that anyone who uses email or posts regularly on message boards would know (or should know) that the tone of a comment cannot always be read correctly since there is no voice to hear or facial expression to see. That is why some people use emoticons and other methods to show true intention. Your comment came from left field and was interpreted as a direct slam, and I'm sure anyone else reading it would feel the same.

So as far as not taking things too seriously or not getting our panties in a knot, do you really think anyone would just stand there and take crap from you if they felt they were being insulted? Standing up for one's self when someone makes a back handed comment has nothing to do with not being elite.

And so now I suppose that it is cool to say something crappy and sit back and blame the reaction? I don't think so. Don't go putting yourself up on a pedestal just yet.
Maybe a more appripriate comment would have been to say, "You guys have obviously put a lot of work into your cars, but I'm just not a fan of exposed cathodes." See the difference? And see how the reaction would be different? You can't tell me for one second that you didn't expect a reaction.

And no one is really impressed by your 2 trophies. Was that really supposed to throw it in our faces? We all have trophies, and honestly who gives a damn.

 

You have never said anything of that nature to me.. If you had you would of gotten the same response.. I do not troll these forums like some of the people here.. I understand some one talking crap to highlander mac.. he does enough to stir up a crazy comment every now and again. but not Snicka or myself..... did I ask for a judgement of my car from him? i dont think its about the cars anymore its about the level of respect..... you have told us in person... and we respect other peoples opinions by all means.... but when you do it in a public forum... it looks more like bashing.....

So go back to talking about how amazing that slideshow is and how great it is that your cars are bright enough to land airplanes. I have nothing more to say and won't be checking this thread again. Snicka, I can understand what you saying, i guess the way he said might have had a lil to play, however, you CANT tell me that what Trevor followed it with HAD a GREAT portion of how this thread is now. So the comment he made was simply about having the lights exposed, OK, so you are looking for him to ride you guys **** first, then critize the car. Personally thats what i get when you say: "You guys have obviously put a lot of work into your cars, but I'm just not a fan of exposed cathodes." Yeah is A LOT of different statement, however why he should repeat something that you already know, you know your car is nice and clean, so he went straight to the critism. There is nothing wrong with that.

Ben: I have told you a few times, I love the way your car glows, i just cant get passed the fact that they are visible, i never got anything from you comment wise, so whats the difference you know.

Capt: If you want to get to claiming members we can technically also claim mellissa. but thats not what this conversation or thread is about. Respect is something that i give to EVERYONE even if you a bum on the streets, however is something that not always is returned. Now, how is it that in person i can say something and is consider critism and if i posted it might become bashing, i would LOVE to understand that one, if doesnt make any sense if i take the same words that i would have said and type them then im bashing.
