Good luck with the repairs Frank. The B pillar is what worries me though. Hope it works out for you.

once that safety cage is compromised - I dunno....

some ol race head frame builder back me up on this.

I'd be bucking for a new one.

Pull all the goods off it put the stock back on and hand it in.

Let me know if you get the chance to part it out

^^^Saylor I wish it was that easy, the guy's insurance wants to total it, but his policy limit is only 15K so he is underinsured, so I have to contact my insurer, State Farm.
State Farm will not total it and wants to fix it only, they will not total it and I am definately not taking 15K for my car so my only recourse is to try and fix it. They actually want to fix it because they have up to 15K to spend of the other guys insurance before they have to pay anything. Where I get hurt is when I try to sell my car that has been in a accident, and or problems that crop up later. I just hope Toyota of Irving does an ecellent job. Besides all that hows it going neighbor. We are living in the shopping Mecca.

I can vouch for TOI doing an excellent job on restoring the Green Dragon. Good to know you'll have it for the show season. GL to you Frank.

That's awful Frank! I'm so glad that you were okay. Was the frame of the car damaged?

Hey Rhianna, the lower part of the car was knocked in a few inches, top has a couple of creases so the frame was smacked.

The other guys insurance totalled it out, and gave a value around 18K. The problem is that the guy only carried 15K in liability. I can't take 15K for the car, even if I keep the car. State Farm my insurer will not total it. They say that it is fixable. I know that they can spend up to 15K of the other guys insurance before they have to pay anything so they want to fix it and they are not giving me the option to total it. So I am stuck as of now with repairing it.

thats a tuff situation cause now even after they fix it your never going to get the same value again. and to sell it again after will be hard and your gonna never sell it for what it should have been worth.

there must be something......

well...(excuse my language) crapola! It sucks when it's not your fault but yet you have to suffer for it! It doesn't sound right that his liability insurance will only cover up to 15K...there's not alot of cars under that price anymore. Have you thought about contacting a lawyer?

'Cause if all else fails.....
