I've checked the dealer ratings section, but there aren't enough comments about the Dallas area dealers to form a valid opinion. I've visited most of the dealers myself, and while I love the tC, I don't have a good feeling about ordering a car from them. With one exception, the salespeople are regular Toyota staff with no knowledge of Scion in general, and tCs in particular. I know exactly what I want to get on my car, but I am left with the feeling that the car will show up incorrectly due to their ignorance (I'm not using ignorance as an insult, btw).

I don't want to call the poor salespeople out; rather, I'd like to hear about the outstanding ones. Who have you had an outstanding sales experience with? Any salespeople who own the cars they sell, are enthusiastic, etc.?

 

Talk to Jeff or Charles at Sport City Scion. They are great.

Sport City has a huge customer satisfaction rating. They are the originaters of the Scion community appreciation events. I have had 3 outstanding sales experiences with them in the last 2 1/2 years.
David at Fowler owns an xB -Multi show winner
Ned in Lewisville owns an xB-JDM style multi winner.

I don't know which dealerships you went to but they should be Scion sales people, not Toyota sales people with little knowledge of the Scion cars. Are you sure you went into the Scion show/sales area?

 

Brian at Pat Lobb in McKinney is real knowlagable on the TCs.

 

Sport City Scion, Charles and Jeff

 

Greg at Toyota of Plano gets it, but the rest of the dealership (including finance and service) is a bunch of dumb ____ monkeys, so I'd stay away (I will as soon as my free oil changes run out).

 

And some are fairly knowageable of Brian!

Best bet is go to a few dealers and find someone who understands what you want and wants to be helpful.

Ya i bought my just 15K scion from Him ( Brian ) @ TOD and would not do buisness with him again anywhere including Pat Lobb in McKinney ..

My uncle works at sport city in Garland. Jeff is a really nice guy. Thats where I got my TC and wouldnt have gone anywhere else.
