Default DFW Caravan To The Hudiburg Scion Rally in Oklahoma

Anyone from DFW going to the Hudiburg Scion Rally up in Midwest City, Ok. on the 8th? I've just made a snap decision to go (Why the hell not? I'd just spend the day at home bored) and wanted to see if anyone else is going and wanted to roll as a group. We could meet up in Denton past where 35W and 35E come together.. Lemme know.. I still have to figure out when the show is and stuff. I just found out about it moments ago.

Doesn't look like that long of a drive. Could be fun.

w00t! a glow-off! go go gadget green neon!
If you guys want to caravan, we could meet at the Chevron in Gainesville. I have to stop there to get gas anyway (No Chevron's in Oklahoma) and I don't think there will be enough DFW people to clog the lot up.

If you don't mind me rolling with you guys (and anyone else that's going that isn't already with you), Sanger is good for me. Where specifically in Sanger are you guys meeting?

I'm waiting on a message from cbutcher.. he's gonna pass me the time and exact place a group of the Scikotics guys are meeting as soon as he hears back from someone, and I'll stick the location up here. It's gonna be in Sanger.

i would say we need to meet in sanger and leave by 11:30 no later than 11:45 it takes about 2:20 min from here . that would allow us to roll with the okc scikotics from bass pro shop ..

Sounds like a plan. I'm all for it, as long as I get to the show with time to adjust my drop... (35 minutes tops)

For those of you that didn't RSVP via email, I just got an email saying that they want cars to start showing up between 10:30 and 12:30 AM.. Eeeep. That mean's we have to leave ALOT earlier. Just FYI...

Yeah that's a late night for those of us from DFW.. I'm still going, but I don't think I'll make it all the way though to the glow-off.. In the email that went out today to all the people that RSVP'd, there were only 8 email addresses in the 'To' list, counting mine.. So we need everyone to show up that can.. But if that's too long a day for you, I totally understand.. I'm sure there are gonna be alot of local drop-in's.. I'm still waiting on the word from cbutcher about the guys meeting in Sanger...

Update: The guy(s) that were going now arn't so no one's meeting anywhere at this point. I don't think we have enough time ( <36 hours ) to pick a spot and notify everyone that would be interested, so unless I get a resounding flood of interest, it looks like the few (i.e. 3) of us still going are rolling independently..

Sorry this turned out the way it did, and please don't blame it on the Scion manager Chris.

The owner keeps changing his mind.

Yeah, def. not Chris's fault. So no one is going at ALL? Oh well. I'm still gonna go and represent DFW. I'll bring back pics and hopefully a trophy :D
