Default DFW Scion Owners?

Anyone in DFW area that can recommend a shop to do the lowering springs? I am finding know one wants to do them because, surprisingly, they don't want my warranty to be voided. They recommend a Toyota/Scion dealer do them so the vehicle's warranty is not voided. I guess that's a good thing, but I see others have been doing the drops themselves....so what happens if there's a problem and Toyota does not cover it due to your aftermarket addition that they did not perform?

I did mine, they are pretty easy to install. I'd be glad to give you a hand. If you want them done the dealer was wanting to charge $200 to install, if going with TRD's and you don't want to do it yourself, check your dealer.

Let me know if you still wanna do the drop. I work for Vandergriff Scion in Arlington. I can hook you up with the install. I just need to find out how much my guys charges. Of course this install will be done at the dealership by a Toyota tech. Don't worry, he works on my car all the time. Just have some cash ready. PEACE.

jotech is over price. try intercrew. or ask a few of us to come and help. It shouldn't void the warranty as long as they can prove that your work is what did the damage.

I know Jotech is a little pricey (on some things) but I believe their work is 10x better than Intercrew and I have been to both places. I just believe you get what you pay for.

jotech work is good. My friend works at intercrew but i haven't see how good their work is.

I had jotech install my rear springs on the corolla because it was a pain in the *** to do with hand tools. Front I had no problems with. So they just charge me 100 bucks and they got to it quickly. Overall I'm satifiy with their customer service.

If you decide to go with Jotech, call 'em first and ask for Kenny. He takes good care of his Scion customers. After all he's sponsored by Scion.

whats up all.. I am looking for some people in DFW to help/show me how to instal a set of stechs on a 07 tc. I have priced all the shops in the area and I have looked at all the walk throughs and I can see its not that hard, but I would rather have someone with me that has done it and has the tools to do so. Willing to cover some cash for the assist, or lunch or better yet I would love to find a club to link up with and get this ball rolling..

any comments welcome..
