Default don't run from this issue.

why don't you guys stand up and address the problem. it's ok for everyone else to say stupid stuff. why can't i confront the ones with a problem. if not , then lock out the ones that cause problems. this site needs better control. by the way...a forum is for info and meeting new people that share like interest. the lonestar region is in bad shape. you guys need to take a step back and remember who you are.....just a normal every day person with a 15k scion.

And these are the people who are making it possible for you to get paid. If they don't buy a car from you then where does your check come from?People were just disappointed in the way it went down.

I havent said a lot in this forum because I was still new to it all and wanted to speak from what I knew, not from what people told me or from what I assumed. However now seems like a good time to start speaking up or "standing up".

David, you are now a professional in formal place of business. You unfortunately can no longer have your cake and eat it too. When you address this forum, you are addressing it as representative of Scion of Dallas. Your words represent how Scion of Dallas thinks, feels, operates etc... And with that understanding I will say that I personally am disappointed in your comments on this thread and the now locked Speedway thread.

I definitely know you havent been the only guilty party in this whole shambles of an event but your actions are alienating the very people that have brought and might have continued to bring you business. You have come right out and called all members of Scion Life a waste of time. Again not a very good marketing technique.

It is very clear from your post that you were not attempting to address "the ones with problems". You were clearly addressing all participants of this forum.

Also, as you yourself stated this forum is for people of a like interest to share info. Well, if I was still looking to buy a scion and I knew about this site I would come in here and look for information about the dealers. Therefore, if someone has a complaint about a dealership and its practices then that is fair information to be shared on this site IN A MATURE manner.

This is not a personal attack David by any means. I just think you might want to cool off and re-think your actions and words. You've now insulted everyone in this community and I just want to be sure you realize that.

With that said, I also see many members of this community that might want to step back and do the same. Re-think how you address each other. We're mature adults who have the right to ask questions when things lok shady... yes but insults and catfights get us nowhere. There are a lot of shows and events still left this year and i'd like to think we could get back to enjoying them the way they were meant to be.

Nothing comes without a price. When the dealerships break their backs to put on an event, be grateful, give some props, and even send them some business when you can. If the event sounds like something you want to do... GO... If it doesnt, then STAY HOME. Who said the scion key in your hand entitles you to have every event cater to YOUR likes and YOUR ideas of what an event should be.

I appreciate what I have seen the Scion Guys do for the Scion community. Therefore I will continue to send them business and support their events when I can. I know there are many other dealerships out there working hard for this community too so I hope to see many more positive events come about from them as well. For now though, I will simply have to wish, with much respect, Scion of Dallas and you, David, the best because i'll be thinking twice about your events under the current circumstances.

That is all. Happy Posting.

-Wendy

I am sure that the first response wasn't posted by David. I know he will not conduct himself in that manner.

Nicely put Wendy, but I don't think it's David doing the posting. They are using his screen name.(Just my opinion)

Well then he needs to change his password and you can change "David" to Scion of Dallas as a whole.

Brian is posting using Davids login because he is so involved in the Scion community he doesn't have his own. Your true colors are flying in the wind here! I don't need to say too much because you have already said a MOUTHFULL!

I agree that while David can act questionably, I don't know if I believe HE is posting this schmack. If it is whatshisface, Bryan is it. He should at least man up and "sign" his post.... since TW has posted from that name in the past...

I won't say much more, what i say generally causes more problems than it solves....
And there is enough drama already....

I locked the speedway thread because that thread was on the brink of becoming a ____ing match.

and i can almost garantee that these threads are going to end up the same way sooner or later. and this site does not exist as a way for anybody to argue with someone, period.

and if your true intentions are to speak directly to whoever is giving you problems, this site also has a handy feature called Private Messaging that you can use to carry on private conversations or arguments as much as your heart desires.
You are more than welcome to use this feature.

Lupe - Since the entire community was addressed by his comments I think we deserve to see this conversation carried out for a bit.

When you address the Scion community as a whole, and the lonestar region of this forum then it's a public laundromat! Lupe, you don't have to lock everything that could 'potentially" get ugly. As long as we are expressing our opinions without name-calling or curses, who said we always have to agree???Moderate, don't play Denmother. It is important for the Scion community to know how much they are appreciated by a certain salesman. Good stuff!

well, it was also off topic IMO, that thread was for fun, not arguments.

if i was out to get rid of all of the fighting this thread would not still be open for us to discuss!

No but I can see that you expect to soon.

And so we all know. Its been confirmed that David did NOT wrote those posts. I did not and still do not have any personal issue with David, however he is still a part of Scion of Dallas and the message still applies to the dealership as a whole as those words were written on behalf of Scion of Dallas.

I'm quite sure not too many people at Scion of Dallas would want to sign on to the opinions expressed by Brian. Looks like ScionFUEL is running on empty!

I never said I was going to lock this topic, please do not assume what I am going to do or not do.

I only said that it would become an argument soon, an argument that I feel needs to be discussed about little or not in the right thread.

and the username ScionofDallas has been banned party because other people are not supposed to be using someone elses username.

I don't understand why Scion of Dallas screen name is banned.
I understand that that guy brian was using david's log in but on this post he used his own name.

Is he really the Manager saying these things????????
And what is it he says on the bottom of his signature
Making the Scion Community come together and making new friends everyday

his signature didn't used to say his name, it was edited after the fact.

when all of it was first said he was still identifying himself as David and not doing anything to change that.
