Bumped into Rob at the dealership checking up on my mom's xA, and found out his new Green Envy had just been delivered, had my camera, so I snapped a few shots, sorry Rob I did not post this on Scikotics page first, did not know how to move it. It goes to show you, how Scions and SCIKOTICS! are so popular to bump into each other out there!!

Now if only I could take the flipping box home. I'm paying for it, and boxless. They took my BSP.

I think there might be some truth to the relese the relese series at the same time thing around the country. So far only one has been delivered.

They keep telling me the title is in the mail. I think the district rep told them not to deliver it yet.

I'm gonna loose it if it sits on a show room floor for some candy eating kids to play in and watch Bamby 2 on my moniters while mom and dad close on their Lexus.

Have they given you a reason why you can't take it home? Sounds to me like they just wanna play with your stuff, even if they're not driving it you know they can't keep they're hands off of the A/V system!! If it's yours, it's yours, tell them to get one of their own, unless you feel it's pretty safe in their hands even while your not around.

U quack me up Kenny!!!! I was at the dealership today and saw this suspecous 2.0 come flying off the highway from the south, I thought hummmm was that Rob, but mom was with me and my car was almost done with the oil change, so I did not go to find out. I hope so!
Yeah it must be something about Missouri....as the salesman told me once the car makes it to the dealer it takes 2 days to get the title in the dealerships name before they can release it. WEIRD as my xA was delivered the same day I bought it, and I drove it off the lot that day!! That is Texas for ya, I also found out my dealership did some tricky stuff that I thought was legal (if Scion knew the would have been in trouble ) and I tried to get them to do the same for my mom's car, but I got the BIG FAT NO

 

That was my bride! I think she was more stoked about the car than me.

Chad's sending out my gauge face today, put in the ground wire kit, started the amp wiring, added a front passenger side screen, cabin air filter, boomerag arm rest is in, floor mats, started the interior lighting.

The HU is nice. I'm a little disapointed in the 160 watts. Was hopeing for 200. Max volume is not very max. No clipping at max, very well balanced sound system. Will see after the sub's in.

I could not find one that fit without using hack and slash tools Not to mention I could not afford one.
So I picked up a cheep Wal-mart double dvd set and dissected the second screen/speaker one.

I found a plastic tool case and fit just the screen in side and made the top velcro so you can move it around. Its only 7.5 x 4.75 The only hole is the power and video input through a small hole in the square dash knock out.




After I finish shoveling 4 inches of snow to get A car, not THE car out The sub is next.

I want to add a front screen too, can you just add a Y cable to go to the front and a rear or is it harder than that? Is there a true Dolby surround or is another processor necessary? I don't have mine until next week so thanks for any info.

 

I still need to the air filter mod.....lol.

 

very cool Rob!!! When I get a job I need to see you about helping me, I want to get one of those cheapy dvd to fit in the box we have under the *****, then I want to get some screens to put in back of my headrest's.....ahh the idea's!!!

It looks like will need to get a video amplifier. The signal drops out sometimes.
There about $40.00 on e-bay

Oh well, I'll just have to use all 6 out puts How about a screen in the engine compartment.
