I bought my '06 tc in October. Originally wanted the BSP but thought, eh, the FM looks good too. Now, after 3 months, I still want the black. My gf and everyone I know thinks I'm crazy. The FM is amazing, but I just love the sparkle in that black.

Anyway, so I went to Don Davis yesterday. Because the amount left on my car loan is worth the same as a used '06', I don't have any equity. I would be basically buying a new car and starting a new loan over again. So the 2 g's I managed to pay off would go down the tubes.

I guess the real question is, am I screwed if I want the BSP? I was wondering because I've seen a lot of people on this site trade in their Scions for other Scions 3-4 times. Well, ... what're my options?

i think the fm is the best color. if i had got a tc, that's the color i would have got.

 

I would say keep the FM I always thought it was a better color than BSP

 

go with what you want dude. if you want black that much then go for it. color is the most important thing for me. I waited for my color (and got lucky)

sometimes I want to trade mine in for a NB 5 speed. but that comes and goes so I don't think it will happen.

i don't think a custom paint job would cost you 2 grand.

 

a good one that is thorough and an OEM color could.

 

I wash my car every week. Would that be good enough? Or would I have to do it more?

 

Go with what you want man, but if you do the trade in, add the S/C to the deal.. lol.. then you can finance it too....
