Hey guys I want to get some sort of scion get together going on down here in east texas, if possible. I would travel to Dallas but too much time and gas. But anyways back to the point, I want to hear from all you East Texas guys. Lets meet at a local starbucks in tyler or plan a cruize! I really want to get to know the people down here. Ive seen a lot of scions in this area(oh ya btw I tried to post in the "Ive spotted you thread" and no replys), but so far none that I can find on this site. But if any of you are willing lets make this happen. Also anyone else is ALWAYS welcome to join us, I just know the trip can be a pain sometiimes!Look forward to talking to some of you. yeah the west an east tx area's are still becoming new to the scion owners on those sides. but everyday lil by lil one manages to come on an even on myspace.

 

ya ive tried myspace too but so far no such luck oh well what can you do. You know i see at least one xb, xa, and tc if not more everyday over here in east texas, and the sad part about it is they are all differnet people so there is plenty of them here I guess they just got the car for practicality and price you know.I guess I wanted to get something going before I left the family of scions so the scion people over here could have somewhere to meet and exchange a little casual convos. between each other.

this delearship is giving me a hell of a deal on a 350z or s2000 just cant decide whether to stay or go, ive always wanted a Z for 3 years im just trying to figure out if now is the right time because of my new business, but a Z is a dang good christmas present;)

 

lol yeah that would be hard to pass up on a great deal. wat kind of business an u can always set up some sort of meet up around there? givin everyone a chance to hang out an talk.

 

i own an ico-own insurance agency with my mom but this one will be my first on my own, oh ya most def. i would set up meetings for everyone to chill and talk car stuff, thats what i love to do i like to active my car community, you would be suprised how much better people feel after hanging out with people that like the same thing they like to do, a good group of car enthusiast can save people from going down the wrong path or at least in my case it did!but anyways im still doing some research on fellow scion owners around here so hopefully after the holidays we can set up something and bring some of the dfw area out around here

from the east texas area houston is about 3.5 hrs away, but dude your welcome to come though, anybody correct me if im wrong or missing anyone but tyler/longview, palestine, athens, ceder creek lake area, so basically all the redneck areas here lol j/k

 

i guess i would be considered southeast tx...

 

ya i think so hmmm idk its sad i live in east texas but im not too sure what cities are in "east texas"

 

for a generalization:

Tyler, Longview and everything east to the LA border

 

lol no way your right outside the loop u would be call ''swat'' or west htown or maybe even sw htown. depening how far u are from the loop an then u got the katy area goin that way.. im on the southeast side of htown in pasadena. more like the southside. but southeast. everything to the east like beaumont area that way is considered east tx. an the west texans are more of the border citys.




yeah its good to get involved wit the car community in different area's even the import scene is a good start. h-i has been around for a long time an doesnt condon (sp) street racing. only at the track where its safe. they are pretty strict on rules an regulations for meets an gatherings an such. just like any other car world out there. they have the good an the bad. an the ones who mess it up for everyone but now an then its controled an cops are always present to keep the peace which is good. but at the same time u gotta look at zoning laws an noise pollution an such. as long as the owner of the property is ok an everything is in a controled enviroment its good.

There is a Tyler chapter of Scikotics that started not to long ago.

 

haha my thread was revived lmao but anywho im over on the Scikotics site now, we finally formed a chapter after me waiting 1 billion years alone =( haha anyone come join up we had our first meet a week ago so far 5 members strong so very very promising!!!
