Well I have been poking around the site for a while but have never really introduced myself, so here goes.

I am a college student at UTSA and have very little time and money to spend on my tc. I do not know much about cars but learn quickly and hope to find some help from the ppl that know their stuff.

Also, if anyone could recommend a good shop to do some modifications to the car, that would be great.

We got a shop down on the southside off of military. you pretty much do your own work but it has all the tools you will need.

i go to utsa too! i have the rs1 xD im working on it slowly but surely. if u need advice u can go to scikotics shop or visit me at best buy (also on the southside)

 

talking about visiting you at best buy, is today still good for you? i get out of work at 4 and i need to go home and pick up the stuff and change so i should be there at 4:30-4:45.

 

well i figure i'd get TSE involved in here lol... but theres another group here in San Antonio, Team Scion Eyed... but for mods i recommend the Scikotics shop, im lookin to get my body kit installed and the guy there gave me pretty good price so i figure u want modifications thats the place to go lol

I recently had a Python security system installed. I wanted the security before putting things on the ride.

I am very interested in this "Scikotics shop". Are there ppl there that can help with install? And what is the best day to go?

Last question, can anyone join this Scikotics club?

 

yea anybody can join, just head over to the forum on the scikotics website and join. then all you have to do is show up on friday nights at our meeting spot and thats it.

at the shop you are doing most of the tedious labor at the direction of andy(shop owner) or anybody there that knows what they are doing. the best day to go are on saturdays since there are more members there.

nah i had it and i was gonna take it one weekend and i decided that i didnt want it anymore... lmao... its too flashy, i just wanna go with a lip kip... its a kaminari kit if u know anyone who wants to buy one im selling it for a good price

 

those look sweet, on of our guys has one and he took best in show at the red mccombs show awhile back. if i didnt have an rs4, i would def get it.

dude the TRD Exhaust sounds clean, i jsut got one myself and SATownScion has one, unless he changed it lol

 

nope, still got it. not planning on changing it out any time soon. i like the mellow sounds it has. not a big fan of the fart cans. i dont want to be heard 5 blocks away when im idling down the street

it was because i had just bought it about 2 weeks prior to the poker run.

i really want to put it in some shows but there's really nothing going on right now in town, everything is out of town and dont have the time or money to go.
