Default Houston EZ tag mounting

Hey all,

I've had an HCTRA EZ tag for a while (on my Grand Am). Didn't realize how much stuff gets left behind on the windshield when you take it off until I tore it off the Grand Am that I traded in when I got my tC. Does anyone know of any kind of non-destructive tag holder that will work for our EZ tags? Something like this:

http://www.autobarn.net/ezclip.html

but able to fit a HCTRA tag?

Do any of you guys mount yours somewhere other than the windshield, such as the dash?

You can always use 2 velcro strips. I have had several ustomers trade in vehicles and that seems the easiest/cheapest way to keep them mobile. This way ou canpull it off and use it in another vehicle easily.

I sure as hell don't so the texas registration sticker is the same size as toll tags here so i put the velcro on the tag stuck the velcro together and the placed it perfectly on my registration sticker that way noone sees it and it works perfect!!!

That's cool. You don't have any problems with getting scanned at the toll plazas?

I didn't stick mine on there at all because of that reason....I just lift it up to the windshield and then bring it back down...So i just wave the EZtag....its a little bit of a hassle, but no stickers or anthing stuck to the windshield.

The new EZ Tags are stickers applied to the windshield in the same place behind the rear view mirror. These are permanent and if you take it off, it becomes "Void". It costs $15 to buy a new one. I like it better because now you don't have a little white box on your windsheld anymore, just a sticker which I don't see while I am driving.

My Toll Tag came w/ 2 small velcro strips on the back, and it's worked out just fine. I've the Tag on my tC for almost a year now. The adheasive seems to be holding pretty good and it doesn't appear to have done any permanent damage to the windshiled.
