Default Houston Scion Expo Pictures (not 56k Friendly!)

Seeing as I didn't have much going on today, I decided to start snapping up some pictures for those who couldn't attend...

Blue xb from Scikotics SA (Not sure who's this is?) Interesting and innovative definately (I had pictures of the back but the audio wasn't all that show-level so I just took a good overall pic)

Jon's TC.. Clean Clean Clean..

Cody's XA... Alot different in person.. Looks like it's about to hop over a wall or something.. that bag ride is nuts!

Cody's Audio, very technical looking.. Nice components

De factor McGill XB

Clean and simple JL XB audio setup

Nes' XB

Another shot of Nes' XB

Raf's TC, looking really nice.. he got this thing like a mirror!

TC??.. Nice interior, fresh bodywork just needs to be buffed out a bit more and it's glass!

Scion's XB Trailer Queen... Very nice

Yes, I'm blunt and straight forward. I've been doing shows for 8 years so I'm a natural born critic. There is no "bashing" happening here. I feel you are taking it a bit out of context. I'm objective if nothing else.

As well, I think if a company (specifically Scion) trailers a car and it's supposed to be perfect, the least they could would be to hide the zipties protruding out from under their wheel wells and wipe the finger prints from the rollcage/windows/etc.

Yes, most of these rides are more developed than my xB, simply due to the fact I've had my xB for 30 days and I refuse to show a car "under construction" (my suspension, wheels, engine buildout, etc are setting in my livingroom since I do not have a garage.. and I'm waiting on my turbo). Once my car is put together, then I will drop it in along with the rest of you.

I'm far from a "noob". I was a sideline car in Sema 04-05 and placed in several other national shows. Out of courtesy, I've rephrased my commentary, nothing more.

Now I know why Robin told me he doesn't bother posting much anymore... The drama .... the drama.. lol..

Peace!

Had a great time and got a chance to be one of the judges. That blue xB is bad butt, to my knowledge it's not done yet. I was talking to the owner and he said he's got some crazy audio setup coming up.

To all who coordinated the event, thanks so much and big props to all of you. Sorry I had to bounce early since I had to be at work early in the morn. See you on the next one.

Just wanted to give HUGE props to all the Dealers and GST that put this all on.
The 18 Wheeler was cool. And also props to ALL the people that showed there cars at the show. A lot of REALLY nice and unique Scions were displayed.

no trying to cause DRAMA at all i just think that and yes you are a newbie to SCION here that you chose to be a critic and yet no on e knows who you are and what your agenda to the scion world is yet good luck with your project and im sure your ride will be clean but its just a little rude IMO to add your own comment to cars that people work very hard on an yet you have nothing to show for yours yet being that its only 30 days old.....................

AND dont tell me abut Robin not posting in here he posts all the time when he getsa chance........

so i leave you with this........ always pay your respects first..... get your name out there.............. and rememeber this is important..........never get into a boxing ring without GLOVES..................................

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR car cant wait to see this SHOW WINNER cause if you are true to your word...... it will be awesome

While I can see your point of view and in retrospect, agree with you somewhat. I still feel it's taken out of context. It's not meant to bash/hate, simply to give one person's perspective, thus inviting others. I appreciate everyone's hard work and effort they put into their autos.

I'm not overly concerned with what my status is in the Scion world. I've made strides in the past and that pleases me, and yes I hope my ride will be very clean and unique. I'm not as heavy into the show scene anymore, but I do see the effort these guys put in. Never claimed that I would build a show killer, simply something fun and unique that will turn heads. My 20 something days and being overly concerned with points and what others think is far gone. Now it's just about building a ride that is to my liking, just as these others have.

I'm going off of what Robin told me. And we all know this place can get dramatic

Thanks for the advice, however I know which battles to choose.... Now hopefully we can get back on topic...
