its seems the powder coating came out a bit different than they had shown me....

Its came out to be a perfect freakin match!

the guy was like "dude i haven't seen a paint and powder coat match this good with such a distinct color.
SCORE AND A HALF PEOPLE!!!!!

i also schooled him on the basics of Scion and the models, he was surprised at the tCs basics and potential to say the least, and he mentioned that Robin had shown up at there doorstep several weeks before.

EVERYONE must go HERE for their powdercoating needs.

www.topkoat.com

they are in Kennedale, about 30 minutes or so away from me.
oh yea, it only cost me $75, this included removing the Black chrome powdercoating that the DC strut bar comes with, sand blasting, Powdercoating, and Superclear (which i assume is a clearcoat of some kind).

I'm bringing TRD lowering springs, NST crank pulley, and 4 cold cathodes... I'm not very knowledgeable about how to install any of this, so what do I need to buy to make the install easier? I know the pulley requires a smaller belt and I think I need some 14 gauge wire for the cathodes, are there any special tools I need to get that you guys don't already have?

Good point TTU Red Raider, for any of you getting pulleys installed make sure that you guys bring the belts, the correct belt number/part number should be in the instructions of the pulley.

Rain, i didnt see any rain in the forecast, and if it rains we can always reschedule, i would say that we can pull the cars in one by one in the garage, but my garage is taken by some cabinets and a broken crx... well i can alway push the crx out the garage. LOL.

TTU Red Raider,
Can you get there at 8 AM. We gotta get started on you first dropping tC's is an all day event. I suggest we start on the back since it is a PITA. Then do the front.

As for me if they come in time I would also like to add some cathodes.

good luck on the lowering springs on the TC they are an @$$ whip.... that rear from what i saw was a killer youll need atleast a spring compressor and about 4 hours atleast to do this ... good luck....

a little hint do not heck you cant unbolt the top bolt of the strut in the rear with the spring compressed you have to keep it at full then loosen the bolt till about 2 threads and then compress it to get it off if not it will just turn in the shaft and that my friend is no bueno........ ask Robin he just did this on sat. and he can tell you
