We are having the biggest (with your help) event of the year. It's at Sneaky Pete's(http://www.sneakypetesonline.com/) on Lake Lewisville and we want everybody there!!! We'll have games, a car show, lots of suprises, and hopefully the most fun you can have at a Scion event. There will be plenty of stuff to do so plan on a very full day. This isn't limited to Texas and Oklahoma either, we want people from everywhere to come on down to the Lake and take in some Texas sun. Also, don't worry if you're afraid to be under the sun, there is lots of shade inside the building. If ya have boats don't be afraid to bring em'. This is a kid friendly event so bring em' too!!! There will also be a charity auction so be ready to bid on some truely incredible stuff. This is our first huge event and it wont be our last, so lets make this a mind blowing event!!! And really if you know any scion lovers in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, heck , anywhere, that like big scion events please invite them!!!

someone is already trying to put a get together going in Las Colinas for the 9th. I voted the 16th.

First, if you are serious about inviting people from other states, you need to allow them travel time.

I supposed they could drive in on Saturday, stay somewhere near Sneaky Pete's, join in for Sunday and then leave. You might suggest some hotels, or a "base" hotel for out-of-town visitors with a small welcome package (think gift bag).

Second, July is a Very Warm Month. Sometimes it's just Plain HOT. Will there be shade? Will we be out in a parking lot? Will there be an air-conditioned place for some relief from the heat?

Now that I've made a couple of suggestions, let me know if you need some help. I'll be glad to pitch in!

And since there is a Mexican luncheon and drive already being organized for July 9, I, too, voted for July 16.

This sounds like a fun day out! I'm looking forward to it.
