looks like im gonna be leaving the scion community...

 

whats going on?

 

blew the motor again... after only a week and a half..

i dunno what the hell is wrong with my car... its a freakin TRD sc and the motor keeps frying...

i think i want a small suv or something.

 

that sucks dude. same thing happend with one of our guys. hes been s/c for a good while but he is already on his 4th or 5th engine. hes selling the s/c and just keeping it n/a. hes tired of all the crap. and from what i heard, it sounds like installer error for the most part, they dont do their job right the engine blows. he doesnt have to pay out of pocket for it but the hassle of it all.

 

ugh this sucks, jono just sell the supercharger and with that money get a motor that works....

 

i looking for an explorer or something... i dunno yet...
something that i wont mod and can drive carelessly(curbs and such)

oh and cheaper than my car...

yea, to say the least. i had a good time there so the 1st place and the 1K$ was all gravy.

 

haha no prob man, good to see you finally came out to a show, and congrats again for takin home 1st in the tC mild category... see now you can really go tell the wifey that you gotta invest more money into the car, it'll pay itself haha , i like ur amp setup tho, its nice gives me some ideas on where to put my stuff ... dude and with the blue parking lights and the red and blue strobes with the interior and exterior LED's you would dominate at night shows too... and im about to send you my info so you can pass along, i would've done it last night but i was waaay to tired, i fell asleep watching the cowboys game haha...

yea, when i got home, i had a bite to eat, took a shower and went to bed. it felt so good. but then i had to wake up for work.

umm next show i can think of is Import Faceoff here in San Antonio like in the middle of December... most of the shows are spring - fall... not much stuff in the winter... but the yearly scion shows are, Scion Expo (always in Houston) and Scion Exposed (which im hoping they make it next yr here in town haha)... then you get Tx Heatwave which scion is a sponsor of, however you still gotta pay to get in lol... and yea... idk just keep a look out for shows... usually you'll find ppl posting about them here on SL

 

would've been nice to see pictures of OTHER cars
