Hey folks I just bought a Rostra cruise control for my xB and I need some help installing it. I have checked all over these forums and even looked at some DIY stuff and I think i need an exp mechanic do install it. Does anyone know of a good mechanic in the DFW area? I have called Texas Toyota here in Grapevine and they want to charge me $300 bucks and I would have to buy the cruise control from them, but I have already purchased one is the problem. I think i could do the job just a little scared of tapping into the cars computer. I would appreciate any advice you folks can give. Rock On

 

Toyota of Irving, have you called them to see what would be the charge.

 

Ouch, I had mine port installed for $275 total, unit and install, so it would be warrantied. It doesn't look like it would be that hard though. It does look like it is going to make my K&N cai install a little harder because of where the unit sets. You may want to PM Scott17, he is master tech at Toytota of Irving
