Design us a business card.

It must not be chapter specific or vehicle specific.

It should not be too busy as we want people to be able to read them fairly easily. Some things that look great 8x10 look really bad when you shrink them to business card size.

It would probably be best to use our logo.





Our font is Broken 15 if anyone needs it.


The first part of the contest (the design part) will run for two weeks starting today.
After that we will have a week long vote to decide who's design wins.

These cards will be distributed amongst the chapters nationwide to hand out to potential members and sponsors.


The winner gets a Scikotics hoodie with their name (or screenname) embroidered on it.

 

Is using our logo/font a requirement?

Some people seem to have a hard time reading it, don't know why though...........

 

It is not a requirement, I might just put our logo on the back since we didn't get a nationwide sponsor to pay for them.

Man, talk about cheap advertisement. Think of how many cars those cards are going to stuck on.

as long as it's cool with Jon, I know that just the act of rotating a couple letters so they all face "the right way" makes it WAAAAAY easier but still keeps the flair of the club.

Hey Jon, some of us have no artistic and/or computer design abilities... If I were to pair up with someone and give an idea that could be accredited to ME but someone else designs it and the finished product can be attributed to THEM... do both win something?


(I have no existing plan, nor idea... just wondering)

I really don't see how our logo is hard to read.

 

I don't really know why either, but EVERYTIME I wear my mechanics shirt with our logo on it I keep getting stopped by people who either asks what is says or they fumble through trying to sound out the word..................go figure

 

yeah but most of em probably don't know how to say "Scion" either... so...

 

 

well the hard to read thing is a good eye catcher anyway.

honestly the hard thing is that some people do not know how the say scion. so even rotating the letters would not cure this problem.

Hey Jon, do u think u can send that font to me plz the "Broken" one.. and also... do u have any "Smaller" logo's ? the big psycho guy wont fit, it comes up that big on my photoshop thing okay? . . . ZACH

 

you can scale the pix down in photoshop and he gave links to the font on the scikotics thread.

About the image, that's the only one I have. You should be able to shrink it in photoshop.
