Default New to Houston, and need some help with the shops around

Hello guys and girls,
how is it all going

I just moved to TX and needs some help to find good shops around the area, so please share what shops do you go to in Houston area for:

-Audio
-Installing mechanical stuff (intake, exhaust, etc)
-Suspension
-Wheels
-Paint and body work

I plan on painting my SW tC burnt orange and I want an excellent job, how much would it cost me arround here

sorry about all the questions, just could find shops that do great work myself, so i figured out i might get some help over here.

BTW, I have some questions about the law in Texas
-What is the legal limit for the tint?
-Turbo, is it legal?
-smoked tails?

thanx in advance guys

Kind regards,
-Ashraf

it's o'right, thanx for passing by

I'm not really an expert and i don't wanna miss up my engine or parts by trying somthing i don't have a clue about

congrats on the '08 and yeah, it would be awesome if it was burnt orange w/ CF parts

i'll be out of the US for a lil' while, and when i come back i'll start modding my baby :D

good luck or urs, and i'd say the first mod for your car should be wheels, springs, tint :D

TSE Motorsports

Suspension, Exhaust, Intake, ... you name it, they can hook you up! They'll even do tint.

As for the legal concerns,
Texas law for tint is 25% or higher light remittance for all side windows. There is no tint limit on the rear window as long as the vehicle has both side mirrors.
http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/vi/Misc/faq/tint.htm
Yes, aftermarket turbos, as well as any other performance enhancement (aside from Nitrous), are street legal in Texas, provided that the vehicle passes emissions and safety inspection. The state-required Safety Inspection does call for a visual inspection of the intake and exhaust systems of the vehicle, so you may want to remove anything that says "For off-road use only" or "Not intended for street use", as this may cause a picky inspector to fail you.
Smoked Tails are technically illegal.
http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/vi/Misc/faq/lens.htm
However, most inspection stations will pass the vehicle if the red reflectors are visible through the smoked tails.

Thank you, Thank you

That's all I need to know for now

so most of the mods I'm ganna do is ganna be legal

just one more question

even tho the tinted tails are illegal, is it a pull-over thing or just failing inspection?

...depends on the cop.
For the most part, if you aren't breaking any other laws, then most cops will ignore it. However, there's always that one @$$hole that has nothing better to do than harass someone with a nice-looking car!

Yea save your money install the intake yourself i did mine without knowing wtf to do, and have done my exhaust from the s-pipe back it takes little know how to do this, but yet if you want a shop to do this I also recommend TSE motorsports. I will probally be going to them this weekend to paint my eyelids on my car and do my tint and possibly repaint my f-up on my car interior trim.
