Speaking of moving - anyone know who's hiring in the OKC, Stillwater, Tulsa area? I currently am a co-supervisor at a warehouse.
Are you moving there for school? I just graduated from OSU a year ago. Not a lot of big warehouse companies in the Stillwater area, but there are some big manufacturers on the north side of town. Armstrong, Kicker, MerCruiser. There are a couple of Wal-Marts and tons of restaurants. I used to work at the NAPA on S. Perkins, the pay wasn't all that great, but it was better than most and the core group of guys that work there are pretty cool.

Also, just a word of warning...if you are driving a modified car, don't drive around with your fog lights on. The Stillwater PD likes to pull people over because they have a hard-on for drunk drivers.

Cool. It'll be good to have you out there.

I'll be in a window-less Q45 with a friend of mine. :D

Anyone else going to make it out? A friend of mine (the guy that owns the Q I'll be driving) has thrown out a friendly wager. Those of you that have not been out with us, if you beat him in the Q45, he'll pay for your entry fee. ...if you don't beat him, well, you still had a good time trying, right? And you won't own him anything.

Ah right on. I was one of the guys driving the LS1 RX7. Not my car (or the sweet tow rig), but that thing was pretty fun.

Well, bring your car up to Hallett. I'm one of the DE instructors up there, so I can ride (or drive) with you to make sure you aren't doing it wrong! ;)

There are lots of tracks in Texas.

I believe the fee for the day is $95 (+$5 gate/entry fee) and then $35 for your DE School (required for your first time at Hallett). If you'd like to rent a transponder it's an additional $20 (good for tracking progress), and if you'd like covered parking it's $15...I believe.

...plus gas, food, and expendables (I'd recommend an extra set of brake pads and rotors and some good fluid, just in case)

The Finish Line Cafe (onsite restaurant) has some really good food (lunch is typically $8-$12).

You should. Let me know when you are coming. I'm trying to be there every weekend we have a DE-HST group...but I'm sure there will be a weekend I miss.
