Is anyone in the OKC area still meeting up in the winter??? Let me know. I would like to hang out again, I've just been swamped with work. I got some new parts coming in and could definetely use an install day

Good question, we have a member in Lawton.

And he owns a Dominoes Pizza, so we might get a hook-up.

I have nothing against Tulsa, I would drive up there but its just the busy time of the year and I don't have time to make it up there that day. I was just looking for people hanging out in OKC during the winter months, its hard and illogical to go to Tulsa or Dallas every weekend. Just looking to see if anyone local is still hanging out on the weekends. It would also make sense to have the meet in OKC since it is in between Dallas, Lawton and Tulsa, rather than have people from Dallas and everywhere else drive all the way to NE Oklahoma.

 

well unless you wanna offer up your home to many of people to stay the night and drink and all of that then yeah they will have to stay in tulsa. and okc only goes to dallas for meets like once this whole season. and we are always going to tulsa because tulsa is cool! so we go where the cool people go!

well with the weather like it is 39th is pretty much out of the question. there have been a few hanging out socially, but as far as an install day in okc they are few and far between, but if you were keeping up on the forums and the club, you would have seen the ones we had a little while back. o and as far as moving the party to okc, that's stupid, hell i think that and i can't even go to this one cause of work.

 

You guys are taking me way out of proportion, I was just wondering if you guys are hanging out locally, not club events. I merely suggested OKC or perhaps Lawton even since they would be a central location for everyone, especially if people are driving up from Dallas. I was basically just wanting to shoot the breeze with you guys again since I've been out of it for awhile and trying to get back into it. An install day would be great but mainly just wanting to cruise or something locally

 

dude have you looked at the weather lately? Its COLD. lol the only cruising we would beable to do is if we went somewhere really warm. but we dont really have very many events in okc except for our weekly meets. then we travel up to tulsa about once or twice a month to kick it with most everybody in oklahoma. as far as doing something in lawton we may have to do that one of these days. we will let you know if we do have a meet in lawton, but weve also only got like 1 guy that lives there so we have to make sure it would be okay with him. oh yeah tulsa and lawton are practically the same distance from okc....

 

I know its freakin cold man, but this past weekend was nice. Nice enough to install my sound insulation and RainX the car all while wearing a t-shirt. It doesn't have to be super warm to cruise, we have heaters man. We could all go catch something indoors like a Hornets game downtown or cruise to Eichen's out in Kingfisher or some cool place. There are winter car shows too. I didn't know you had weekly meets, that is what I was asking about if you guys met on the weekends or something, so that would qualify. I'm down to hang out with ya'll again now I have a little free time and I'm starting to mod my ride again.
