not sure of any of the others but i remember a stock 07 manual tC got like 145

why does everyone seem surprised by these numbers?
seem normal to me. of all of them to seem high i would think it was me cause i have an automatic

 

well most are around the 130 from factory but 145 its pretty high well iono my is manual so i cant say anything obut automatics

 

i would think that 130 is low for manual and more right for automatics, maybe even a little less. i bet if i took of my intake it would be about there.

Still not fast enough. Need ZPI Stage 1 head, an e-manage system, and dyno tuning. At minimum. Though (at the risk of hijacking the thread) I'm beginning to think I'm going to sell the tC and get a '08 xB. Hint hint. Someone buy my tC :D

 

be sure to take all the engine part of the tC as you can prolly use them again.

 

yea the engine parts of your tC may vary well be reusable.

hey man just checkin out this thread... the new tC's (2007) should put about 10 more to the ground then the '06's. I found that out recently.. then motor changed a lot. Higher compression, different intake & exhaust manifold, mafs is different. Although the '07's only show a 1hp gain advertised, at the same time Toyota had to change the way the hp's are rated(along with other manufacturers.)

 

all cars have been sae rated since 2005. and the dyno difference between 2007 and before is negligible so no real noticeable difference in power

 

if what you say is true then i shouldnt have been anywhere near what i ended up dynoing at 135hp with just an intake and the TRD muffler (which come on, how much can a OEM spec axleback really add besides sexy noise).

the changes to the 07 engine were not extensive enough to miraclously add 10hp like that, the difference really only is ~1hp.
