We need to have some more Scikotics that are planning on going post up in the rollcall thread that Alex linked up there.
I'm feeling a little lonely on that list.

 

Rooms have been reserved. I got 10 double occupancy rooms at a good place just down the street from the dealership (figure about a mile away, but on the same street) called the University Inn. Those 10 rooms are reserved for both Friday and Saturday nights and are $95 per room per night. All rooms are non-smoking. In addition, I have reserved 4 Mini-Suites for Friday night at the Gandstay Residential Suites. That place is actually attached to Old Chicago (where we will be meeting on Friday night). Those rooms are $150 each. Two are smoking. They are booked for the Saturday, but I am first on the waiting list if any become available.

Please note that May 6th (Saturday) is Iowa State University's graduation weekend and hotels in the immediate area have mostly filled up already. This is why I have reserved rooms.

If you want a room, please contact me VIA EMAIL ASAP. I'm posting this up all over the place and won't be able to check PMs on every site. If these are assigned quickly, I'll try to get more rooms. They're all reserved on my personal credit card under my name and I'll be keeping a list of who has dibs on what.

I'll put up a few people in and around my house too, but I only have one tiny bathroom and one tiny water heater. I also have only one wife. Putting lots and lots of stress on any of these things by having 20-30 people staying with me would probably cost me dearly if you catch my drift. I'll do what I can, but if you can afford to do a room, that would be very cool.

So, that's what I got! If you need a room, SPEAK UP!

Maybe more Scikotics should/could look at this now, there's only six of us right now but it's really shaping up to be a BIG event !!!
