Default Reputable DFW shop?

Well, it's looking like the Turbonetics turbo kit will be in my hands first week of February and we're looking at our install options. I might do this myself, but right now I want to keep my options open. So the first question is:

Who in DFW area should I trust with the install?

Secondly, even if I do the install myself a custom exhaust will have to be made which leads us to the second question:

Are there any reputable exhaust shops I should check out?

I can always drive the car back to Austin and have my favorite shop do it, but I thought I'd see what you guys/glas had in mind.

Yup.. they seem to have a good shop over there, i liked it..

or you can do it yourself and ill help you, easiest way to get the kit done in one day would be getting a extra oilpan and having it tapped already before the install..

and custom exhaust should not be needed, if you are buying a bolt on kit it *should* bring a downpipe that would connect to the stock cat back. If you are talking about having a custom 3" turbo back or catback, then Kinneys Muffler in the HEB area i think they are located.

Exactly. I wanted to let the engine breath a little better. Custom 3" catback is exactly what I was thinking.

If you are going custom you might as well go with a 3" turbo back.. custom downpipe and custom cat back..

Somebody should start making a 3" mass production of cat backs and downpipes for the tC!!!!

True, I really need to see the Turbonetics kit in person first though. Everything's an option right now.

I am gonna tell you right now that fitting a 3" all the way back is gonna be tough. I dont remember if that shop had a mandrel bender, but it is really tough to mandrel bend a 3" S pipe, the rest isnt bad.
Trust me, I have a full 3" mandrel bent header back exhaust. Then when I swapped cars from the N/A to the S/C i had to rebend my S-Pipe at an exhaust shop. So no more 3" mandrel all the way back, now its about a 2.75 at the bends in the S-Pipe, but it sounds MEAN!!!
