The family and I are going to take a little tour of Texas for Spring Break this year. We decided since we were driving to Dallas for the St. Pattys party that we should just keep going.

So, Saturday, March 18th we will be in Dallas.
From there we will heading to San Antonio by way of Austin.
We will then be staying the night in San Antonio and hopefully meeting some of the members there.
After that we will drive to Rockport to visit my grandparents for a few days.
From there we will be going to Houston for the infamous Thurs. wing night.
Then it's the long drive back to Tulsa.

Talk about putting some miles on the B.

 

I guess we could stop in Austin and have lunch with our lone Austin member Alex......lol.

 

That sounds like a cool trip. We will have to see what Chad at scion has up his sleeve for this party.

Ok, the wife had a great idea so we are flipping the schedule so that we can hit Houston on Thursday night for the infamous wing night.

That means we will be in San Antonio on Sat. night I believe and cruising through Austin Sat. afternoon.

And the business cards should be done way before then. There is actually someone working on them as we speak. :D

WHEN will this happen now?!

 

March 17 is the Friday in Dallas. San Antonio Saturday and Sunday, 18th and 19th. We should be in Rockport Monday -Wednesday, March 20-22. Then in Houston on that Thursday and Friday, the 23rd and 24th. We need to be back in Tulsa by Saturday night.
I know its over a month away -- but we gotta plan for this kinda stuff.

If you have good hotels near you (nice, clean, not expensive) -- let us know so we can make reservations.

This will be so cool! We are very excited to be able to travel and hang out with our Texas people.

 

theres a amerisuites. like 40 or 50 a night here in houston, includes delicious continental breakfast, thats HOT. or anyone on a budget can stay here with me

 

Amerisuites is a great hotel. Houston is huge. Which side of town should I ask about?
Matt, I don't know if you'll want us to stay at your house -- our boys will be with us -- that's 4 of us. The boys are going to hang out in the hotel in the evening if we go out to a club or something. Thank you very much for offering.

Jon's aunt owns apt/suites just off of the beach in Rockport -- that is going to save us a good amount of money.

 

tahts good. well the amerisuites is the one by bush intercontinental. its off ronan park place. and that offer is open to anyone that wants to stay here hehe. i dont care if you have kids, it will ve a fun experience, though if you do stay here, i only have one bed =/ unless you bring a sleeping bag hahahah!

 

This is going to be fun. :D
