Well as you all know… The Scion Guys Masters 2007 is right around the corner. And to say we got lucky would be an understatement. Why? Well it is lucky in the fact that every Scion sold, only in the last 3 years, has a button that needs to be reset* and we will be “pushing” your buttons at the show. The last available time frame to reset the button is on February 25th, between the hours of 1 PM and 5 PM at Sport City Scion (something about satellites and stuff that only Kenneth would understand). We will have plenty of competent staff on hand to handle even the largest of crowds….so bring your cars and bring your family and not your worries. Not that a button pressing is a family event, but The Masters 2007 will be!!!

Enjoyment, fun times? You ask? Well for the inconvenience of HAVING to come out (for us to push your buttons) and hanging with us for 4 hours, now that’s punishment, we will feed you and your entire family…. and if food and drinks aren’t enough, we will make some members of our local law enforcement department cook it all for us…. that’s right you can tell them…”make my burger well done” or “a dog officer, just a dog”.

Well, I am sure you are wondering how long I can go on with stories for you to read…to keep you entertained…well… I will stop and save you the agony and keep the moderators from getting mad with me (more importantly).

And not to dilute the purpose of this post here is the majority of the information that you need to know… don’t want to have to kill you, you know.

What: The Scion Guys™ Masters 2007 Car Show
When: Sunday, February 25th, 2007 1pm – 5pm (and then beyond…DO NOT make evening plans)
Where: Sport City Scion 12650 LBJ Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75228
Who: Damn near everyone!!!!!
Why: To have fun, win prizes, support our local law enforcement, but most importantly….HAVE FUN!!!!!
Cost: Ten Dollar ($10) entry fee for every car.

Now…what to expect, some of you ask? Well those of you that know of the fun, post up when you RSVP as to what you have experienced and let us know your memory of last years event. We need to have some to compare to this year…

We promise this show to have some unexpected events. We can’t say it all just yet, as they are still being finalized, but well, let’s just say look up, look around, just look, but to look you have to be here….oh, and don’t forget we need to “reset” your buttons.

What we need…. We need a count of all that are planning on attending. That is all that we ask. So post early and post strong, we want everyone to know about the fun.

Oh, did we say that we all will be going to another “showing” right after the Masters event? Hmmm, what could that mean? Don’t you just hate being teased??? Me too…..

You know we aren't going to miss a Scion Guys Event. Last year was a blast. Can't wait to see what's in store this year.

Ludy and I will be there, we cannot spoil our perfect record of Scion Guy events. Last year I was saying goodbye to my beloved Thunder Cloud, and was anxiouly awaiting my Envy. Funny but that is exactly what I am doing now. Nervously waiting, hoping my Envy will be showing at the Masters. The first question, I asked when TOI started to work on the car, was can you have it done by the Scion Guys Masters and they said it should be done by then. Anyone that hasn't been to a Scion Guys event doesn't know what they have been missing. Meeting the Scion Guys will make it worth your while and you will have a blast too. Crossing my fingers that the Dragon will be well by then.

i have been to other great scion guys events

 

The only thing I remember from last years event was trying not to die on the way up there driving from Houston. The bridges were horrible early that morning and there were about 20 wrecks on the way up there. I had Icicles hanging from my vehicle from driving in.

Oh, yeah....I'm in and Gunner is in as well.

I don't remember, but let me know if you guys have Speed bumps in the parking lot. I may not make it through the parking lot in the xb if you do.

If you live in DFW, you gotta come to this. I am driving from Houston to be there. I will see about getting the TSE Crew to make the trip...

I just saw some pics of a bunch of scions at scion guys in another thread this morning and thought, "HOLY CRAP! DID I MISS MASTERS?!" But then saw this thread and breathed a sigh of relief. Masters was my first meet I went to, and I didn't even have a Scion! Will def be there for this one with my xB. (crap, I gotta get a few more mods done!)

I might not be showing the 1NZ. Someone backed into my rear bumper and peeled off the paint. I will still be on attendance along with my FX.
