Well my xA is rattling a lot and it's really making me mad. There are 4 different rattles in different parts of my car, wurring from the rims rubbing the link arm, and now some weird whining sound. If this crap keeps up and dealership wont fix it I'm trading it in for another car.....not a scion. I'm really mad yall.

 

i hear rattling from my hatchback kat....and then of course that squeak from the radio cover when its up ....its BS

I'll definitely have to come hang out. I ordered mine from Cavender - really good experience there. I ordered it on Sept 1 and they told me the window was 2-8 weeks. It sounds like the delivery time varies a LOT for most people.

 

Yeah it does vary alot. I got lucky, they only had one there that was available right then and it was in the color i wanted. I have an IIP 05.

Yeah, they had an A/T BCP and a M/T White one in the lot, but I'm not a fan of the manual, and the BCP color wasn't doing it for me. So, I took my chances with the ordering.

I got the tie bar and exhaust from the factory. Does anyone have the upgraded exhaust on theirs? If so, how does it sound? I know it's only axle back, but I thought it might be nice.

 

I do on my xa.....I have the TRD exhaust....it's clean.

 

Okay, so it's not a 'fart' muffler is it? The salesman giggled quite a bit when I asked that, but he guaranteed that it isn't.

Since it's a TRD part, it must be pretty good quality.

 

Like I said, sounds clean, not too big, my husband has a huge exhaust on his Integra GSR that is soooo much louder but still sounds good. Still, I would shop around if I were you....just to see what else is out there. Also, check out sciongirls.com when you have a chance. Kris10 and I are both site members (free)...GUYS AND GIRLS are there. (sorry...I edited it now. I type so fast and forget to proof-read. Thanks Terry)

For those who knew Rene G. he had a heart attack a couple of days after his last post.

Oh and I bought my tC from Shane at Red McCombs Scion. He's the best and will take excellent care of you. No bs. He's the only salesperson who took me seriously (I look younger than I am). I'm grateful for that. =)

....and there was a question about the TRD exhaust on the tC... I have it and I love it. It's a TRD exhaust made by Borla. Borla is one of the top names in the exhaust world (just in case you were wondering...). The sound is deep and throaty, not tinny or buzzy lol. I think I just made up those words.
