We got back last night. Got a ticket in Searchlight NV almost as soon as we hit the road.

Paid friggin $4.69 for gas in Needles, CA. Took a little bit of an alternate route because I wanted to see Tombstone. Took longer than planned, but was a very scenic route on highway 80. Stopped at my brother's place in Phoenix and then stopped for another night at my brother-in-law's place outside of Colorado City, TX.

Wife had I made a nice vacation out of the trip and Scion paid for our hotel in Henderson at least.

We enjoyed the concert and were bummed that we didn't get the shirts we were supposed to. Someone said there was a misprint and that's why they didn't give them out. Maybe we'll get them in the mail. The custom shirts were okay. We didn't get ours like we asked for them to be, but we heard some people didn't get theirs at all. Can't wait for the next event. Someone said something about Scion Exposed at Six Flags in Arlington?

 

Scion Exposed at Six Flags in Arlington was last year , not sure if they will repeat the same venue twice .

 

they asked us our opinion on where we would like it last time, majority picked six flags, they may ask around again.

 

damn i didnt pay over 3.89 for gas.... an the 21hr drive ended up being a 24+ hr drive since we took the hoover dam express way lol. it was pretty sweet at night to be crossin the dam.... but it had alot of turns an hills........... ended up pullin at a rest stop for a few hrs to nap.... ended up being a 4 hr detour.... oh well we got home safe wit alot of memories an great pics. sorry to hear about alot of valet problems.

 

yea dude we took 24 hours cause our detour of looking out the window so much and stopping...but gas was great in the new xb...it was like 35 for each tank to fill up....


oh and hell yea im down with KBOY....round 2 lets do it....

 

My fault about Scion Exposed. I was reading a post from last year's event. Looks like this year's WAS (April 2008 unless they do them regionally) in Orlando if my new information is correct. I was at the one in 2005 at Texas Motorspeedway. I completely missed 2006 and 2007. I need to stay up on the events!

 

lol....its cool bro ....but yea dude there are so many events it kinda hard to say which ones are which ....i forget how many cars we attend and which ones they were

 

yea i was shocked at how little we ended up paying for gas.
everything was great except for the $3k in repairs i need cause of the valet service.

 

holy ____ dude did you say 3 g's got damn man..... thats what they get for hiring people from myspace and craigslist....

 

yup but they didnt hire anyone from craigslist to valet.... only the bartenders lol

This one bartender was all "do you want to be able to walk out of here?" like he was going to hook my drink up. I wasn't trying to get hammered, just get a buzz. I told him to just make it normal or whatever. Then I drank too many of the hot lava drinks at the concert.

I thought it was nice that they got Redman. I don't really know much about Flo Rida, but he put on an alright show. I got a kick out of the guy walking around with the little video camera during the show. He just looked out of place.

 

lol yeah i was like ''got any shot glasses''' an the guy was like no but i can do the cups as shot's an i told him hook it up wit crown shots... lol

 

we got ours to just fill teh cups with straight crown.

 

The bartender I was talking to sounded like he was getting high on his own supply. Haha. It was good times.

well, i wouldn't.

 

i would do it again as well, we take risks everyday when we drive the houston freeways in our cars. an hit out of town carshows.. i knew it was bs when i read a 5star valet but i was stock so i didnt care if it was used in the commercial/ad's or not. but then again the ones used where already picked out from last year. im just glad i got to meet up wit alot of scion owners around the nation.

 

well, i just got back from doing almost 5k in body work to my car not 2 weeks and now it has to almost all be redone to fix, so while i did have a blast i cannot say it was worth it in the end.
i expected some things but what i got back was rediculous.
