I did get a job though, I start on Monday. It isn't as much pay as I was making, but I will be able to make my car payment...
How far is the toy drive tomorrow? I don't know if I can come up with enough gas money to make the toy drive and the meet all the way in Katy on Sunday. I am over an hour away from Katy! I will try to sweet talk my bro in law for 20.

 

awww sorry to hear that you can't go Chris...but CONGRATS on your job. Something is better than nothing.... Hopefully you'll be able to make it to the Toy drive on Saturday and the Meet on Sunday.

It will work for now. I will be working for Fry's Electronics in the computer accessories sales. I am working on my A+ Certification that will get me into the computer service/repair department which will pay a lot more. But hey a job is a job, at least I can keep my car now :-). I just won't be able to play as much as I used to, I am making about half of what I was.

 

oh snap frys on 45 south? dude i love that place since its closer than the one on 45 north man i hated goin all the way over there... now i can just hit u up an see wats on sale ;) lol best place 4 some sweet electronics... an thats where i took my comp for some upgrades there the best.
do u get a discount? or what? hook me up i a small part for some cathodes if they sale them seperatly? i only know another place that sales them in webster/clear lake area....

 

I think I get a discount, I don't start until Monday, I will let you know. Yeah, it is the 45 South location. There is no way I would drive from Clear Lake to the North location for such little pay. If you ever need help in the computer department, come find me. I'll have the big nametag that says Christina on it.

Congrats christina, definitely get your A+. I already got mine hehe...and also CCNA if you would like to...these two certs definitely helped me to get my job right away. Too bad I cannot work off-campus....otherwise i'm sure i'll be working for those big chains electronic store like frys or bestbuy whoever pays good ^^ The frys on 45south seems very close to you, i have been there once only.
