Speedway Cafe? Where'd it go?
Dude,
You haven't been hitting it too hard. Seems they are having problems with how many people can go and how much they are willing to spend on the event. I got a PM from one of the salesmen at Toyota of Dallas and they were saying that me and my buddies could take only one car from our registered list. Then now, one of the guys that works there is willing to give up his spot for one of my buddies to take their scion on the track. Who knows, I think they didn't think about what it was going to take to have everyone go with them. They have even cancelled the dinner at Red Robin....
Who knows????
We are thinking about going out there by ourselves. Maybe we can get a group together since the Toyota of Dallas event is flopping...
Later,
Bobby

I saw that they had increased the list to 50 and decided to cater it instead of paying for dinner at Red Robin, which was fine with me 'cause that meant I was on the list. But then it just disappeared.
C'mon Scion of Dallas what gives?

I have no doubts that this will be an awesome event! It's neat that SOD got so many Scions interested in this. I heard that only a hand full of Scions ever go. Seeing that this is a charity event, I'll probably round up a few more people to go and pay to do the laps.
I think (not sure though) that SOD cancelled the lunch at Red Robin because since the event falls on a Saturday..Red Robin probably couldn't reserve 50+ spots. I think it's definitely more feasible to have a lunch catered at the dealership itself (more space, less stress)
