Did you guys know that a picture I took of my car at the Paris show last year wound up on the new Scion catalog, that introduced the 08 xB. Lower right hand corner..green xB and the mini Eiffel Tower in Paris Texas.

what a waste of time and fuel , i think everyone in town had there name in the hat
and you didnt even have to be present to win WTF's up with that we drive 130 miles to help you out and show our support so someone not even there wins the Prize

Sorry for any confusion..And just so you know, the winner of the Xbox was there. They where inside the dealership signing paperwork on a Scion Tc. We are planning a Scion only car show for later on and just tried to promote the new product launch at the same time that what turned out to be "Red-Neck " Idol occured. Thanks to those who brought their Scions and drove all that distance. We will try to make it worth your while next time.

 

at lest could have been done would be maybe gas cards to help offset the cost to us that was a 4 hour ,260 mile round trip (about a tank of gas at $3 a gallon) to help you promo your dealership and we were glad to do it we just dont want to a after thought to the idol thing ,or you could resvered one prize to the cars to give us motavation to come next time you need us . sorry david if im over steping my roll here after all you are head of ss with the most cars there

i just got the impression from the spectators that we were just in the way , we brought our Scion there to help your Dealership ( which we enjoy doing for all ) promote a kick off , but what we got was people with no respect letting there children sit on the bumpers of our cars , and then complaining because they were running , well first off dont sit in front of a running car , second having the car running is a must to keep the Audio / Video equipment running , so when we were rudely ask to shut them off we relized we were just in the way and decided it was time to roll ..

and i would agree with donny about the prizes or gas cards just something to show your appreciation for us supporting you , Dont get me wrong we dont expect to all be componsated for doing what we enjoy , but it would be nice if at least 1 Scion owner went home with some thing , well we all learn from our mistakes ,hopefully you learned from this ..
