Texas Misquitoes grrr, what should I do??
Ok, I know I probly didnt spell misquitoes right. but anyway.
Here in Texas we are approaching out hot temperatures. There for we spend time grilling, drinking, and mowing yards. Is there anything you suggest for a perminent misquitoe repelent, such as those special candles on a stick you put out side...
any suggestions? I hate soaking my self in 'OFF' repelent.

The propane traps are by far the best thing out there. Skeeters (easiest way to spell it!) are atracted to CO2, because that's what mammals expel. These devices pump out enough CO2 to mimic 6-8 bovine in your back yard. A huge, slow, non-swatting bag of leather, meat, and blood!
They are a bit pricey, about $250 or so, but they are 1000 times better than anything else. No smells, no chemicals, no skeeters, no nothing.
You have to have about 5 Citronella candles per sq ft to be effective.

Sounds weird but works. Fabric Softener Sheets. You know those Downy Fabric sheet you throw in the dryer, Wipe down with one of those it works. Found it in one of those home remedy books.
