I've seen a few running around. They look cool but I think there are better places to spend your money. For example say they want $20k out the door. You could get a used E36 BMW M3 for that. And if you want the drop top you can probably find one for that price too. Although its comparing a new car to a used car, it's just my opinion. But hey in the end the final discision IS YOURS. No matter what, you are the one with the final call.

 

Well I just bought one for the wifey! The Soltice is a nice car all around. Power is more than the tc. Looks better interior than the tc. Yes the Sky might have a better front end, but the start up price is another 4 grand more than the Soltice. Thankfully when I put mine on order 5 months ago i got prefered pricing locked at 19,999. They are selling them out the lot for start up of 24,000 for the people who arnt taking the car ordered. That is the only way to get one at this point. Because they are already sold out for 2006 and already taking orders for 2007.

 

Except the Sky is so much better looking. And Saturn has the same no-haggle policy as Scion.

Unless u didnt pre-order. Pre-Order price is base:19,999. If you take over for one that didnt want it once it came in then they can raise it to:24,999. The one at ours was sold for that when we bought ours.

 

The Soltice and Sky are the same exact cars with just a different body and price.

Just like the Cavalier and Sunfire where the same car just a different body style and price.

Soltice Base: 19,999
Sky Base: 24,999

You make the decission on weither a front grill and tail lights are worth 5 grand. The interior of the cars are almost identical. That is how me and the wife made our decssion. Can add a body kit later if we dislike it that much.

 

For the Sky? Because it doesn't even come out until next year.

I have a freind at the Saturn dealership, hopefully he can hook us up a bit.

 

As far as I know the Sky comes stock with most of the stuff that are options on the Solstice.

Even if the price difference is that big, it's worth it to us to get a car that we don't have to buy a body kit, grill and tail lights to make look great.
That way I can concentrate on performance stuff.

 

Yep the sky isnt set to come out till feb. But as u see the soltice wasnt planned to come out in October and they just started releasing . And there is nothing at all performance for the cars as of yet....but looks there is. woohoo!

Well some of the stuff the sky comes with is an option on the Soltice but not much. Leather, 18 inch wheels, and the upgrade system are still options which bump it up to almost 27,500. That is why when i put mine on order 4 months ago i went with the soltice, because fully loaded with everything was less than 22,000. Fully loaded sky was almost 28,500.

 

And the body kit that has been choosen is only gonna be 780 plus shipping. Worth it to me to have an original kit and it comes with a grill already. To be honest i like the soltice tails better than the skys. Only thing i liked better on the sky was the front end.

 

Why not look at an S2000. they are amazing cars..

But really, Uncivilized.. S/C'd tC will out perform the Solstice..

Ok I am not understanding the things you guys come up with. Of course a S/C'd tC will out perform a Solstice. But it would not out perform a S/C'd one. Neither come factory S/C'd, so why is this even stated. My comment was N/A against N/A which is the way they are sold a Solstice will out perform a tC.

Cause even if my Solstice cant take a tC, then I bring out the SRT! I know there isnt a tC around gonna hand my 386whp SRT its ___!
