Default Thinking of moving to TX

well its something that I have being thinking of recently, I don't know anything about Texas all I know is that the price of living and gas its alot cheaper then where I am now (California)

I have been a Cali boy my whole life... just tired of the population and expensive living. wanted to know where is the best place to live, hangouts and all the good stuff...

the place I was thinking of moving is Humble, TX

can any of you help me out???

Move to Austin. Not really a fan of the Houston area.

What kind of job backround do you have?

Everybody coming to the T-State. Ive noticed 4 new fams move in to my subdivision in the past 3 months.

Humble is nice...just a little too far out from Houston for me.

I want to find a place not to far from the city, kind of quite not to crazy..

I am still in my 20's but can't stand when the neighbors have a party every other day or on the weekends..

West Texas or Central Texas would be a lot like the San Gabriel valley.

More of Central, like in the Hill Country.

COOL!!! I lived in Garden Grove/Westminster....about 15 minutes away from Long Beach...

I actually live on the border line of Sugar Land and Houston and its pretty quite there. You said you were still in your 20's how old are you if you dont' mind me asking....

Houston's HOT (lived there 13 years). It's also spread way out all over freaking everything (not saying DFW or Austin isn't but Houston's way worse).

I like the Austin area (it's more hilly and not quite as conservative as Dallas is).

I live in Dallas because that's where the jobs are for me (and well I have a house here!).

I live in Spring, TX which is about 30 minutes from downtown. It is very nice an quiet out here and not that far from the big city. Humble is cool too, actually not far from Spring. I have lived all over Houston in my lifetime and the North/Northwest side has been my favorite.
