People in the tread and butter forum could have answered his ? with ease. he could have also read some of the stickies in that forum and it would have answered his ? without having to wait. Just trying to help him by getting it moved, damn sensitve aren't we j/k

I'm running 18X8 Giovanna's that were supposed to fit (according to the factory)... and they did... after adding 7mm spacers! But, they do look hot! I don't know if you can go much more than 8 wide. But, as you approach that width, be mindful of your backspacing... or, you'll suffer my fate.

If you want to deal with 2pc or 3pc wheels ($$$$$$$) you can probably pull off a 8.5 ot a 9 in teh back, a 8 would probably be the max on the front before you start getting turning issues etc. Furthermore, if you get fender flares like the Carbon ones bBist makes you can do more, but more importantly you can run a more negative offset and accomplish a bigger lip, which is, in my opinion, the point of trying to run wide wheels.

As far as 1 piece, 8" would probably as much as you could get. Now if your just trying to acheive a deeper lip, there are some wheel companys that offer similar wheel widths but have a deeper lip for the back, and they're WAY less money than the multi piece wheels discussed above.

Hope this helps...

Next week we will discuss tire widths on certain rims... (J/K)

P.S. i;m not the expert, and thanks pooty for giving me the credit, but tread and butter may yeild a more definiteive answer...
