...because everytime i go on this site, especially this section, its all drama and arguements. ive been on a ton of forums and this one is the worst! its almost gotten to the point where i cant even stand to do the small amount of lurking that i do do on here. if things keep up like this, the site will only go downhill because i know i cant be the only one that hates seeing the same stupid type of ____ all the time on here. so please for my sake and others keep the drama on pm's or on the tv.

I agree , there is alot of drama ( here and in life )but , i beleive we all deserve a mature response from SOD .

 

If this place is the worst you've seen, I really don't think you've been on a "ton" of forums. Or if you have, not many with 30,000+ members.

 

This region has gotten worst in the past months. There are just too much drama going on.

 

For someone who doesn't post much....you sure do post this I-hate-drama stuff a hell of a lot.

I see much less drama here than other boards I subscribe to. When you take the vast age differences into account, I think SL is a great place to post.

 

^ I very much agree with that... EVERYWHERE else I go is pretty brutal. But, we have a lot of diversity here, and a lot of members... so theres a good chance a few of them will be drama-freaks for sure... just got to take the good with the bad...

You see drama, or crap... FLAG IT! then we can see it faster and kill it.

 

Its one thing to lock a thread.... but why delete it?

I just think its a bunch of crap. Maybe we have a little somthing on our angst.
Maybe the rest of the forum needs to know what a person or a dealer in this case has said about all of us....

I think you get extra points for locking a thread. Especially when you have no idea what the subject is. We have a few lonestar forum moderators who know the people involved personally and they are quite capable of babysitting us. Yet other mods lock and delete things they know nothing about. It was posted in Lonestar, it is a local issue, nobodys fighting, why get involved??? People have opinions, people get mad, people act like jerks, it's real life,...... Why micro-manage everyones thoughts? Can't we disagree as adults? Have you noticed how many people have left this particular forum? Life happens and we need a place to discuss it, I thought that was what the lonestar forum was for......

 

Have you guys ever been to any of the other regional forums? None of these problems ever exist to this extent in ANY of the other regions. There is the occasional disagreement on something... but people don't get bent out of shape if something locked or removed or not to their liking and they can all interact peacefully like adults. There aren't threads every other day or two complaining about all the drama...

Just something to think about if you think it's just the mods causing problems for you guys b/c they "dont know what's going on."

 

We have 3 active regional mods on this Lonestar already, what prompted you to get involved?

 

for one thing im usually all over SL an usually post in the lonestar forum... but i seem to be lost about this lol. whats this about? can i get some info on what happend an where? lol pm me thanks so i can catch up wit the gossip

 

When we have Regional Mods bringing this up as a larger issue, everyone gets involved.

well just a little input,
hardly anything gets deleted. unless it was an accident, its never deleted. just cause you can't see it anymore, does not mean its deleted.

and sure there are us regonal mods and Ned. but sometimes if we do something, it would make things worse cause since we all know each other, someone will accuse us of playing favorites.
