I read some of the old post and spoke with a few people but still want to ask everyones recommendation for window tinting in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area I plan on going this week to get tinting.

 

I don't know of a good tinter Kenneth. If you find one let me know too.

 

Tritek does the best I have ever seen, they are that Good. and they back it up!!
The Scion Guys use(d) them, I had 4 cars done by them , I can't say enough good things about them.

 

where are they located?? About how much did they charge you???

I can get xB's tinted here in Tulsa for $125 and in OKC for $100 for club members.

xA's should be the same or cheaper.

 

But the drive up and back would cost me 40.00 bucks plus mileage on the car. Are they open on weekends I could run up their on the 1st since I will be in lawton

Yes they are open on weekends, but it would probably make more sense to go to Cody's place for that little of a price difference.

 

Plus what I got has a life time warranty from them

I used to do it about 6 years ago, its been so long I wouldn't try it for anyone else, but the brand of tint they use is a big factor for me. I don't know anyone dwon here, but I think some of the good stuff is Sungard. 3M used to be good but they never kept up with the new technologies.

 

I had mine done at SunMasters in Lewisville. Did a very nice job. I think it only cost 150 or so.

i went to D&D auto something or other here in arlington.
my dad takes all of our cars to get it done from them, i forget how much i paid but it was not over $150 and i got a lifetime warrenty.

my moms lumina went back like 3 years ago for new tint cause the tint that was there for the past 10 years was coming off and the honored the lifetime warrenty and redid it all for free.

 

Cool hopefully I can get it done.

 

You should not pay anything over 150 for tint, unless you are going to tint the windshield as well..
