Default Wiring/Soldering Party! MOVED TO SCIKOTICS.COM!

Looks like Saturday, March 25th wins!

Stop using this thread and go here!

http://www.scikotics.com/testing/vie....php?p=122#122

I ordered cathodes, ground wires, and LEDs...I'm gonna have a **** load of wiring and soldering to do. I have a decent amount of experience with this, and I'd be willing to lend a hand to anyone that wants to wire up some cathodes, cupholder LEDs, vent LEDs, whatever. My projects are gonna take me a while. I'm thinking this will be my last project before the 1st car show of the season.

So, if anyone has anything they need wired up, or anything they want to buy that needs to be wired up...let's make a date. You've got plenty of time to order your stuff before then.

Let's find out what works best for everyone. Please vote on the best day, and then post if any of the days will not work for you at all. We'll try to please everyone. If we do it early, I can help the people that can't make it some other time.

I need a lot of LEDs thought...it's gonna be a b!tch.

Yeah, I'll have practice by then! Wait...when's your spring break? Mine is 13th-17th. When do you think you'll have your stuff to install? Cathodes and LEDs are gonna be last on my list...too much other work to do that will actually be seen at shows. Pretty lights are only pretty at night. I will wait if you wanna do 'em together. That'll give anyone else time that wants to.

I might be able to hold out...I get real anxious when I have ____ to install though. I'll still help, at least.

I am interested in this if it is closer to the end of March, at least after the 19th for me as well.

I just installed interior cathodes and engine bay cathodes from randode.com. Randy's instructions guided me through this. Right now they are wired to separate oem rocker switches but would like them to share one led rocker switch. I have a pretty good idea of what I need to do to accomplish this, of course I don't really know what I am doing. I don't know much about wiring other than what I have read on the tech articles here.

I want to install cup holder LEDs that turn on with the headlights. I could probably use some guidance on that.
I was also going to order the Inferno underbody kit from oznium.

So I am up for it. I just need to order everything.

Mike,

Where did you get the ground wire kit? I've been looking for it in green and haven't seen it anywhere.

I got it from Ground Fusion, but they don't sell it in green. They have a deep yellow, but it's not really close to gold so I dunno. You could always make your own if you can find green wire!

That's what I was thinking. Just not sure if I can find it in green. I might look at the yellow because I was going to paint the engine cover in gold.

Ah, that sucks! We gotta do it after the 19th for Brian and Marissa, and I can only do it on weekends.
