Worst Scion Dealership Ever!!!!!
I went with my brother yesterday to Fort Bend Toyota/Scion to get him an Xb. We were greeted by a sales man who inturn introduced us to the Scion manager (Dustin Pady). To make a long story short he told us that he was to busy to help us refers us to another salesman while he he sits down and is looking at us then another customer came like 10-15 minutes after us and he was more than happy to help them. We were like WTF. The salesman that was helping us was very helpful but then he left and never came backthen Dustin comes back and tells us let me find someone to help you by this point I was done with this Scion dealership so we just left. When we came home my mom asked what happened at the dealership so I told her and she said the same thing happened to one of her friends at work. If you are in the Houston area do not go to
Fort Bend Scion
I know of others who were not happy with the treatment they received from that dealership, and they weren't looking at Scions, they were looking at Land Cruisers! Apparently, that "stealership" is too good for us customers.
If you are still looking to get your brother into an xB, try Mike Calvert Toyota at 610, by Reliant Park. That is where I got my xB. They were VERY good and treated me like I was long lost family. Also, it may be a longer drive, but DaMarcus at Fred Haas Scion Country on 249 is REALLY GOOD with the Scions! He can get you anything you want and really knows the ins and outs of the Scions. I also have a friend that sells at Fred Haas Scion World on I45N, but he works with the used cars. He says their Scion staff is excellent as well, but I have not personally dealt with them. I highly recommend DaMarcus at Scion Country and any of the guys at Mike Calvert. Both places will do anything they can to help you, especially if you tell them of the horror story at Fort Bend-you-over Toyota!

It just AMAZES me that there are still sales people who treat customers like this. They must be working in a dealership temporarily just to make ends meet while they find a better job.
Many years ago (1995), I stood out in front of a dealership looking at the cars on a sunny Saturday afternoon in July, and after 20 minutes, not a single sales person stepped out of the showroom to say "May I help you?" Needless to say, I bought a car at a different dealer.

Find out who owns the dealership, and write them and copy coporate. The more tactiful you are in the letter, the more they will be crapped on from above. Won't get you back, but at least you cause them some pain.
i was thinking about buying hyundai tiburon last year and this guy asked if i am going to lease it or buy it
so i told him i am gonna buy it with cash
he asked where will the money come from and i said its from my parents.
then he stared at me and said
"so you just ask your parents for money and they give u money huh?"
i was like.... WTF
so i left dealer, no tiburon for me

the 1st salesmen may have had an appointment with another customer. as for the 2nd guy not coming back no idea. go to another dealer, tell them about your bad experience and they will surly treat you like royalty as to take away a customer from the 1st dealer. I was in the same situation and the 2nd dealer did anything and everything I needed/asked

I would send Scion corporate a detailed letter. That type of action goes against what Scion is supposed to be, which is user friendly. Not to mention that it was you who brought them business and they fumbled it. There are many different car manufactures out there and toyota should feel lucky to have your business. I would send a copy of your letter to the owner of the dealership as well.
This agression will not stand.

The best way to find out about dealerships is by word of mouth. I bought my Scion from Fred Haas Toyota World on I-45 in Spring. I had previously owned a Tacoma and I went there for all of my service needs. They were very friendly and they treated me with respect. My salesman that sold me my Scion was very knowledgeable, went out of his way to make the sale hassle free. They like to take care of the customer after the sale as well. My girlfriend bought a Matrix from Gullo in Conroe and she got a good deal, but after that, they sucked. They were very rude to her when she went back to get her license plates. She also had to inquire about her extended warranty and everybody acted like it was not their problem. Needless to say, she gave them a bad rating on her survey. Funny thing is, she is the one that sent me to her salesman at Fred Haas that she used in the past.

Hi everyone, my name is Apollo Chang and I am the new manager here at Fort Bend Scion. I have been manager here for almost two months. I would like to apologize to everyone about their bad experiences with Dustin Pady and please give us and give me another chance, I can gurantee that it will be a much better experience.
I think that's a good show of faith by Mr. Chang to come here and apologize. I personally appreciate at least the attempt to communicate with your customers.
Personally, Donny over at Joe Meyers took great care of me and not only was he the best salesman I've personally ever experienced, he loves the brand as much as many here at SL do. Heck he even came up to me at a show we had here in Houston and was like, "Hey man, what's up?" Was nice to see my dealer does truly believe in the product he sells.
Anyway, go easy on the thrashing guys. If you had a bad experience, speak up by all means, but try to focus on the good when you can.
