Default Revenge Of The Son Of Scion Drag Night At Texas Motorplex!!

Those of you who went back in July to Texas Motorplex with me to run on ATI Fast Fridays all remember how MISERABLE it was (80+ degrees, 80% humidity at 10pm). Well guess what! There's another Fast Fridays coming up on Friday October 13th! No, I'm not superstitious. But I'm planning on going and I'm calling out all of you that want 1/4 miles times in good weather. It's going to be perfect racing conditions. Come get your time slips and shut the naysayers up! Just like last time, I'll be meeting at the back of the Walmart parking lot in Ennis and then rolling to the track as a group from there (assuming anyone is going). Anyone from anywhere is welcome to go, of course.

Info Relevant from last time:
Racing fee is $15. READ THE TRACK RULES. It's not my fault if you forget to meet a requirement and can't race. FYI, long pants, short sleeves, and shoes are required. If you're running nitrous AND your bottle is in the cabin (i.e. not in the trunk or hatch), you HAVE to have a blowdown kit to be able to race. While I don't think any of the Scions meet the speed qualifications to require a helmet, I STRONGLY suggest you bring one to wear. Don't run out and buy one, but if you have one (even a motorcycle helmet) or know someone you can borrow one from, bring it. Better safe than shattered.

Last time, I was there from 8 pm until 11:45 and I got 11 runs in, and that was with me taking breaks. I'm sure it will be busier this time because of the cooler weather, but either way, you should get plenty of runs in.

Walmart In Ennis, Texas
700 East Ennis Ave., Ennis, Texas 75119
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...,0.043259&om=1
GPS Coordinates:
Decimal Degrees: Lat: 32.331030 Lon: -096.620785
Degrees/Mins/Secs: Lat: 32:19:51.708N Lon: 96.37.14.826W
( No excuses for getting lost! :-p )

We meet at 5:15, leave at 5:30 for the track, which is 7 miles west on 287. That should give stragglers/slackers enough time to find us. Look for the Flint Mica tC at the bottom of the Walmart parking lot. I'll be wearing a black TRD hat. Keep in mind that you will be driving in Friday traffic, so plan accordingly. Racing starts at 6.

it would only be the stock s/c and trd exhaust. cause we need some stock auto s/c numbers and I'm not looking to go passed that for a good long while.

yes i have an automatic. and last time i was at the 1/8th i spun like craxy. i did beat the one dealer loaner xB though
i tried to go against another auto tC that was stock but we didn't line up at the same time and he left without me.

i would say Jin would not, cause imma sabotage his tC when I do all that wiring he wants me to do and still get the wash/clay bar/wax job on my car.

oh wait did i say that out loud, crap!

lolz awesome
Yeah launching was AWFUL at Ennis last time. I have to really pop the clutch to burn out like that wtih these Kumo's.. And I was just whistling though 1st. And one time, through most of second.. Blargh. But its all good. I'll launch flat. I can't wait to see what Jose runs on cool evening, what with how much he's spraying now.

Um, black_mz3, buzz off.. this thread isnt about trd or superchargers or manufacturer problems. Its about people getting together to go race and to help people plan for the event. Take the crap somewhere else please.

d00d, didn't you get the memo? We're all out of junior high now. Lets act like it, huh?
Keep the thread on topic. Go start a thread in Forced Induction.

ANYWAY
I have to launch flat at Ennis, or at least I had to last time I went. Traction there is AWFUL. On the street though, like around 1700-1800. If I go much higher, I just burn through first.
