Good times ya'll. just got home a few minutes ago, didn't leave the park till almost 8:30. And of course, something always goes wrong for me. Pulling out of the parking lot, my cold cathodes blew out and my radio (in am/fm mode) now has a permanent static to it. My life sucks.

yeah, Tavis, Dave, Jason, Alexis, & Megan & I closed the park down. and you're welcome for my excellent cooking, compared to last time's subpar cooking. But, this time, the grill performed flawlessly, so I must thank the rustbucket as well (that thing is gonna fall apart soon, I can feel it)

Had a blast... 50+ Scions! Looked like a damn Scion dealer lol

Worst part of it all was sitting in stop and go traffic, on the way home, for 3 hours from 4 miles west of Annapolis to the damn Bay Bridge... UGH....

I have pics of each and every Scion there, I'll post em tomorrow.

Thanks to DJ, Tavis, and all of the picnic "staff" and sponsors for a GREAT day. The turnout was amazing, and I'm expecting DJ Cameron to cut it up next time!

Here's a shot of some the Arundel Mills crew before we made our way to the BBQ. This was before everyone got there, too. I think we left the mall with 14 cars.

I had a blast, thanks everybody, I'll be at the next meet, wherever it is without a doubt - and I'm not sure what happened to the KFC I bought, I had to leave at a little after 5PM, and I figured with FOUR buckets of chicken, I could take the rest home and eat for a week.... nope! less than half a bucket left! I still can't believe I wasn't in ANY picture I could make out... 5 hours and nothin... but here's my girlfriend! lol and she was only there for an hour too, this was like 30 seconds after we first got there and I told her to "eat something while I go clean off my shirt" her and my friend Chris in this pic, I went to clean wax off my shirt from waxing my car that morning....

and here's where I was in my car at the end of the lot showing people my TRD exhaust noise.... second to last TC on the right, inside the car in that pic lol

OH WAIT!! I FOUND ME!! I think.... yeah, yeah that's me

and here's the pics I took of the cars while I was there, OVER 70 PICS! I took some shots of my car on the way home too, since I didn't take any of my car... yeah

Default Awesome picnic

A big thanks goes out to Tavis, the DJ, Alexis, the cooks and all those that made this picnic a hella fun.

As a new Scion Evoultion member, it was nice to see awesome organization, mature people and overall a sweet car club.

We never caught up with the Manassas caravan even though I was averaging 80--90 mph all the way up.

Traffic wasn't too bad going down 95, especially since we creeped up on a 05 Lamborghini Gallardo!!

This was my first bbq and it was awesome. I had some doubt that my buddies and I were gonna make it down from CT safely but we did. Let me just say we left the bbq at 4:30 and i didn't get home till 12:30. A lot of stop and go traffic but hell it was worth it to go to such a great event and meet the awesome people. Thanks to everyone that put it on.

Well.. now that I have strength enough to post.. lets see!

Well first off... T and DJ.. Good stuff.. thanks for the work put out to make this one yet another great success. Thanks to everyone that came out, everyone that brought some grub.. and thanks to everyone who made the trip from CT and all over. I had no doubt that this BBQ was going to blow away all others. I do think its time to start planning that fall BBQ.. and lets make this one even bigger!

I didn't even get the total count of Scions that were there.. did anyone get that?

I do know that this afternoon I am getting some aloe vera.. my neck feels like hell!!!! I have to say thanks to everyone that played football.. that was a good game. I think my muscles have gotten their workout for the first time in a bit.. my damn ankle hurts from bitting it.. but..

Again.. thanks to all.. and for those of you who had the ribs... hope they were good!

Gotti

LOL That sucks. Fortunately I took bac roads home so I never went on RT 50. I took brinks road from the park to RT 32 to I-97 down to Annapolis. I figured RT. 50 was going to be like that.

Had a good time, didnt talk to much to people, Im a little shy, but was great to see such a turn out. Unfortunately though, now I will be poor b/c my BF has all these ideas on what I need to do to my car
At one point, I counted:
29-XBs
4-XAx
and 18 or 19 TCs...

DJ, great job, do you make CDs? I always try to find good mixed cds at the beach in the summer, but havent been finding much...
