The first annual "Head for the Hills" Scion Car show at Leesburg Scion in Leesburg, VA will be held on the 22nd of October 2006.

The event will run from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

There will also be, a free to all (max 100), an opportunity to go paint-balling at Hogback Mountain www.hogback.net. This will run from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, also on the 22nd. This will be a great opportunity to drum up membership in our club.

The event itself will consist of:

1. Three Categories Stock, Mild and Wild
2. A Best in Show category
3. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Trophies for 1st and Certificates for 2nd and 3rd
4. Best in Show gets a nice trophy and pretty good cash prize
5. Food
6. Music
7. Giveaways from CAT Scion
8. Special pricing on Scion parts to be posted on the Leesburg Scion www.LeesburgScion.com website and available for ordering.

There will be a $20.00 entry fee. $10.00 of this will go to R.O.C.K..

We will be sponsoring (R.O.C.K.) Recreation Outreach to Community Kids - a Leesburg Parks Department outreach program in collaboration with the Leesburg Police. R.O.C.K. is a recreation-based program for children ages 5-12 that encourages more positive socialization and community awareness.


The paintball event will run from 5pm to 8pm - they have a lighted course and we'll figure out if it will be club vs. club, models vs models or a free for all.

XM Radio has said they are on board and will be coming out with their tent.

They are wanting to sponsor another category "Loudest Ride" and they will be contributing prizes towards that category.

ithink u should just preregister so the leesburg people will have an idea of how many people are going and how much food to bring.
