Default Coming along great....

Hey everyone...it's been a while, but I think now it is time to pick up where we left off. I got spoiled there for a while having Viet and Justin take care of all the Scion stuff. Then Justin got me involved in supporting the Ptuning tC for races. So Viet said it has been long enough and time for Lustine Scion to put on a party. He put it on me to get a show together and with his help we have the go ahead from management here to put on a show. I would like to put on a Wild Lustine Car Show and celebrate our support and success of Ptuning. If anyone was at the last show, you know Lustine Scion brings it...

I'm still working on the final details, but here is what we are looking at so far:
>Sunday July 5th @ 12pm
>At Lustine Scion- Woodbridge, Va
>Ptuning staff and tC on-hand
>Music by DJ RBI
>Raffles/Prizes (Ptuning goodies, Lustine Parts and Service gift certifiates, Scion gear, and working on more)
>Judged Car Show (Scions only) with cash prizes up to $1,500 for individuals and teams
>Video game competitons with cash prizes (Mario Kart & Rock Band Team Competition)
>Bar-B-Q (free for all those that preregister at www.lustinescion.com )
>Professional Photographer on site to take individual pictures, team pictures, and we are working on some scenery or set that would look nice for a background.
>Hookah Bar
>Entertainment

Viet is working hard for me on getting more goodies and I'm open to an ideas anyone may have..... feel free to pass on at kcattie@lustine.com

Registration is open now at www.lustinescion.com

*wash bay will be open at 9am - 11am
*talk to Viet for accomodations
*any ideas for the night before???? July 4th

Thank you LustineScion for the invite, and thank you for sponsoring the PTUNING/Lustine Time Attack tC for the 2009 season.

Like previous Lustine shows that we had the pleasure of attending, this show should be just as great if not better.

We look forward to attending this show. See you all there.

Hey guys at Ptuning.... Thank you for the opportunity to be part of all that you do with Scion and its owners and especially the tC. I look forward to another exciting Time Attack season. It has been some experience trying to learn how to be part and support a race team..... I definitely owe all my interests in Scion to Justin and Viet, thanks guys...

Very nice. if I recall from Gobblefest, the gaming stuff was next to the DJ area in the main building. Just a suggestion to move the gaming further away so you can hear it, this is much more important for Rock band than Mariokart.

Also, will this be all outdoor or will parking be in the service bays again?

Good suggestion on the music and games.... Since the last show our construction has been finished. I have already picked 2 good areas away from the music for the games. We have a nice customer lounge for one and the Scion Showroom for the other. In both plenty of seating and better noise control.

As for the cars being inside or out.... right now I"m planning on using the inside part last year for some setup and the dj, but most will be outside. Now if it rains all will be moved inside and we would use the service area too.

Any suggestons on the car setup????

Default Update

I just want to thank all of those who registered already (over 20) and give everyone some updates.

Things are starting to fall into place.

For the photographer I was able to have my GM pull some strings a get out here Carlos Vega. He has worked with many musical artists....Metallica, Beyonce, Jessica Simpson and DMC (from RUN DMC) and soon will be working with the ROOTS up in Philly. We are working on a nice scene for the pictures......think Bubbles.

Sandra from CAT has really stepped up and is helping to make this a great event. For all those that registered, information will be coming in your email box on how to win a set of Scion Luggage.

We had the Velcro wall last time and we plan on having something for the little kids (and big ones too).

For those of you concerned about partying too much the night before, plenty of refreshments will be on hand to help re-hydrate everyone.

For anyone who might have some minor blemishes on their wheels we will have a local wheel repair on-site to fix wheels. I am working on seeing about getting special prices.
