In the nova area..

kinda wanna go this week

 

I'm kinda wonderin the same thing......definately wanna get some snowboardin on.....

 

and i dont wanna go somewhere that has like 2 trails open

thats no fun

 

snoe show has the most snow and the most trails open as of today. white tail has the best snow park. wintergreen is the furthist but nicest out of all of them

 

im thinking about going out snowboarding in jan. anyone is welcome to come. maybe a caravan to a great day of boarding/sking

 

Ive got a week vacation First week of january and was thinking of commuting from Richmond to Wintergreen for their learners first timers special.

 

i went to whitetail last saturday and i loved the intermediate slope for some reason that trail was a great run for the beginning of the season. going on sunday to prolly whitetail or liberty.

 

I will be in Frostburg all winter and if anyone is going up to Wisp let me know I will be up there all winter

 

Is that in VA? I have vacation from Jan 4-12 and want to try snow ski-ing and or snow boarding. I have no experience, but time and money.

 

No Wisp is in Western MD. I live up there for school so I got mostly on Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays cause it is only 15 bucks for a lift ticket.

 

Is 15 bucks a good price? Is that per use or unlimited? Basically you take the lift to the top and sky down??? Sorry, I am completely ignorant about ski and snow boarding. Guess next week i will be in for a surprise at Wintergreen, VA?

 

it is 15 bucks for the whole day. That price($15) is with out rentals. I already have my own snowboard.

I dont really fly down the mountian cause I just like to cruise back and forth

 

15$is really cheap most places are 45-60$

 

yea they have special days like McDonald's, Arby's, and local discount days
