Default Can I join a Scion club?

I would like to join a car club. I KNOW my car is not technically a scion, but, It will have an Xa front end going on it very soon. I have been in car clubs in the past, but those were classic car/muscle car oriented. Please let me know!

Aweezee, glad you have an interest in the Scion community. Unfortunately, most Scion-specific clubs that I know of do state in their bylaws that the member must be a Scion owner or leasee (technically my credit union owns mine uuntil I pay it off ). For the club I'm in, Scikotics, we have friends of the family known as Scikotics groupies. They are welcome on the forums and at club events, but may not be eligable for club discounts or sponsor-provided clothing, parts, etc. If you are looking for a good community, we're more than happy to have you as a groupie.

I am not aware of a generic import or sport compact club in the area, the closest thing is probably the SCCA but they are more of a sanctioning body for AutoX racing.

Umm.. redrum is confusing me a bit here.

Blown_xa, thank's for the clarification on the SE policies, I didn't want to speak for other clubs.

I know my tag listed me as Scion Evolution, I'm not sure why and had a post to the admins about it.

I've unsubscribed from the SE usergroup on SL and that seems to have cleared it up. It was not an intentional thing or an attempt to misrepresent another club.

I know the Echo shares a lot with the xA / xB but the Scikotics rules were written as having to own a Scion, I don't meke 'em, if you have questions about it please send a PM to Frankenscion https://www.scionlife.com/profile/FrankenScion

I am actually suprised I got some replies. Having been in a huge car club before, I know the ins and outs of the whole thing. I understand the want for themed clubs and I know that my car is "not" a Scion. I was just looking for a group of like minded car people to go to shows with track etc. Because we all know it's more fun to do that kind of stuff with a group. I always end up being the oddball for my choice of car anyway...

Guess that explains the Celica that was at the Lustine show. Looked nice but kind of lonely being the only Toyota in the room.
