I was looking in the registry here on SL and noticed there are quite a few of us in and around Charleston on here. I figured I would start a post here and maybe we can start meeting up in town. I'm PM'ing the people on the registry that have recently logged on.

Hey what's up...I've talked to you before and you know I'm down for meeting up for sure....We need to get a nice Scion group started around here.

 

Yeah man. Hell I was out earlier and saw three different tC's with HID's. I think at least two of them are on here. One was the white one with the body kit. I see him out around southridge all the time.

 

Yea I would love to find someone with an 08 to switch headlights with. I'm sure you will see me around because I would right in the middle of Charleston and I'm the only Nautical Blue with Enkei GF1s around here.

 

Was the other Flint Mica? If so that was me. But my PnP kit is coming out very very soon and my retrofit is going in as soon as I finish it up.

I have some friends from out of town coming so I can't do it Friday or Saturday. But Sunday is good. Or the next weekend some time if that works. Most of the time I'm off work by 4 during the week and if I work Saturdays it's usually only until 1pm. So I'm pretty much open to whatever works for everyone else.

Ok well my work schedule is M-F 12-8, but I'm up for whenever...my email is dorttyknowhebad@yahoo.com and my AIM name is also dorttyknowhebad so you guys can add me...and maybe once we get more organized we can plan a meet so that everyone across the state could be involved. Also I was in touch with the President of Scionrg.com and if we have enough interested people we can get a chapter started so let me know so we can try to get things rolling.

 

That would be awesome. I PM'd a few other people so hopefully when they log on they'll post up. There are definitely enough around here to get a decent size group.

 

Yeah, I live in Cross Lanes and I drive to Kanawha City every day for work, and I see at least 2 every day on my way to/from work. Not all seem like they are owned by "car people" but like Mike said, I'm sure we could get a sizeable number together.

Ah no problem man. I got the idea the other day after 2006bluetc PM'd me. Then I looked and saw quite a few active SL members lived in the area. Hoping the others post up too.

 

If not at least us 3 could meet up and drive up through Hawk's Nest or something and grab a bite to eat,. Maybe if other Scion owners saw 3 cruising around together it would pique their interest...

 

Yea that sounds cool plus it only takes 3 to start the chapter with scionrg.com so maybe cruising with some advertisment for the car club would bring interest too

 

I thought there was only one other person on here from wv and he isn't even on this thread. Just let me know when and where I'll met for a few at least.

Talk to will Paterson at bert wolf he is all about organizing scion meets he usually host at least one a year.
