Here's another thought for a Friday night drive. The Bengie's is opening up this weekend. The old school Scion crew used to always TALK about going, but no one ever went.

It's a drive-in movie theatre up in Baltimore. I went for the first time last year and it was a lot of fun. I think it's $8 per person, but they show three movies in a row. You could easily spend the entire night there. They transmit the movie soundtrack over a pretty strong FM transmitter, so it sounds pretty good if you have a good stereo system. They don't rape you on the food either. I got chicken fingers last time and it was like fast food prices.

This weekend, they're showing "Penelope", "The Forbidden Kingdom", and "The Bank Job". In that order.

 

unfortunately I don't live in Bethesda anymore =( I live in Bumblefcuk Herndon. Bleah. Anyway yup we were actually talking about going to the drive in movie theatres the other day =)

 

Prob not this weekend maybe next????

the drive in thing is something that we'll need to discuss because the last time a lot of interest was shown but not everyone could get together. Maybe we can get scion involved with it and make it an event or something like that.

My worse fear is that we go and make a rukus cause you know some of us have stereos we like to turn up way too loud. lol

Ok, since no one seems to know what is going on. . .

There are a few of you who are going to Location tomorrow night to view the unveiling of the car. So get together on that one and go. I need someone to take pictures for me so I too can see it.

There are those who are trying to get together to go to HIN to support our locals like Mo. Let's get something together like a dinner GTG then a cruise down to go see the cars. I will be making my best effort to make it however. . .

I will be, apparently, the only person going to the show in WVA. Sucky cause it's a 4 hours drive and it's 21+ So I will be bringing my hungover @r$e back to MD later in the day. If anyone wants to go with me I'm heading out around noon-1 tomorrow cause it's a 4 hour drive from here.

So ya'll get something together already cause the weather is better then great and ya'll know you had fun getting kicked out of the target parking lot last time!
